We stopped for lunch while in Marigot. The restaurant is right on the harbor with a wonderful view. There is an English menu. We started with the scallops and asparagus. I ordered the Mixte de la Mer -- grouper, mahi-mahi, shrimp in truffle butter. My husband ordered the Sauteed Assortment of Seafood which was the same type of seafood as my dish, but over tagliatelle. We were very full but still ordered the Lava Cake. All dishes were outstanding. We ordered the house Cabernet, which was very good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had two delightful dinners here during our week stay in St Martin. We generally always try to make this restaurant one of our first stops. It is really delightful, with an "old world ambiance", attentive but not intrusive service, and "over the top" cuisine. The view from the balconied tables is magical, and certainly creates a romantic atmosphere. We tried the sole, lobster bisque, gazpacho, and a grand mariner soufflé. Everything was perfect. I felt that the portions were just right for us. The beurre blanc sauce accompanying the sole, and the grand mariner sauce were perfect. Their chef is very talented and creates his sauces with real knowledge and expertise. On our first night our waiter chose for us a fine French chablis, not over priced. On our second evening the owner, Nada, stopped by, and we enjoyed a delightful conversation. We have always had very personal service here. The restaurant is a little difficult to find, but not far off the beaten path. The valet parks your car and is waiting when you leave. This restaurant is sure to create very special memories, and we can't wait to come back to St Martin and try some of their other delicacies!

Had to go after all the reviews and lunch exceeded every expectation:) Jean Baptist and his gracious, beautiful wife greeted us warmly, and brought us in to their kitchen for a preview-amazing!! Husband and son devoured their chicken Cordon Bleu with chorizo sausage. My son said it was in the top 5 meals of his life! Huge portions and ambience made this event . I had the veal and leeks and the meat melted in my mouth-delicious!! Yes, we saved room for the chocolate mousse-did not disappoint!! So happy we made it there before they close for the off-season. Get there this week!!Thanks again for our spectacular French Marigot cuisine!

One of my all time favorite restaurants. Not just while vacationing in Sint Maarten, anywhere. The owner, Vesna, and her staff treat you like you are made of gold. If my family is fortunate enough, we visit once a year. Not only does Vesna remember us with a friendly and warm greeting, she remembers what we order! This year was a milestone birthday and the food and service went above and beyond. Very genuine. Now letâs get to the food. Exceptional. My favorite, the seafood pasta was as always, truly great. The desserts, simply done and fantastic! Thanks again, Vesna and staff, and we will see you next time.

We dined at Altro twice with friends during a 2-week stay since it is close by. They offer a fixed price menu ($26/pp when we were there) consisting of appetizer, main course and dessert. They have 4 or 5 different items to choose from for each course. They also have several offerings on their regular menu along with nightly specials. The food was delicious and very well prepared. The waitstaff is professional and friendly. A truly pleasant dining experience overall. I would recommend a visit here if you're in the Cupecoy area.

On the edge of the MarinaFine restaurant, traditonal French kitchen, specials every night Lunch and Dinner Open every day except Tuesday From 10 AM to 10 PM Live music every week
Service was excellent! The desire to please quite evident. The serving sizes were generous, but the meals were disappointing. The steak was okay, but was served with greasy hash brown potatoes... not acceptable for a $48 plate. The duck breast was tender, but not outstanding. Neither meal included vegetables. The staff wanted our feedback. Even the chef came out to chat with us. We wanted to be helpful without being unkind. We wish them well, but wouldn't recommend... certainly at those prices.

Stopped at this small bistro at the marina. Part of a multitude of varied restaurants in a square along a small inlet full of yachts, large and sleek.Mario Bistro serves excellent food!Every dish was delicious. Presentation was artful. Each staff person was attentive.Thumbs up.

Ness continues to do a wonderful job with the place...best pizza on the Island in my opinion and his full service dinner menu with daily specials is and has been just superb. Each dish is prepared when ordered...all with fresh homemade pasta...a better meal is hard to find.

Parking may be a little challenging, but your evening will be well worth any slight inconvenience, Oliver & Mattias were the consummate wonderful hosts and the service could not have been better from the moment we entered. The dinner was amazing, as all the other reviewers will confirm - you will not be disappointed. We could not have been happier. Do not miss this gem when visiting Sint Maarten!

,I dunno the food was very good (small portions) thatâs a Caesar salad in the cup. It is very casual with casual (cheap) prices. The service was the worst Iâve experienced in recent memory. Like waiting 20-30 min for meal 15 min for requested ice 20 minutes for the check after I asked for it. I had the linguini âraguâ bolognese. Delicious al dente. My daughter had a delicious hamburger w/ff
