We wanted a German meal close to the Swiss border. We took a chance on this one without research. The room, service and food were completely forgettable. The service was okay. We had a variety of offings, chicken (very salty and very little taste..but juicy), a Wiener schnitzel that was not nearly thin enough with a cloyingly bad hollandaise sauce, overcooked white asparagus and basic boiled potatoes. Finally we had an odd salad with more components than an engine....so many we actually chuckled....layers of disconnected ingredients, lettuce, with cranberry cause? Beans with carrots and lettuce...bizarre.
Can't recommend it. Price a bit high for the quality.

I was really disappointed about the Menu and quality of the food.
Tex-Mex food is not Mexican food, burritos, fajitas, enchiladas with flour tortillas, hamburgers, beans with rice topped with ready-made tomato sauce is NOT Mexican food.
I understand that the dishes need to be customized for the market however you need to keep certain standards which this restaurant does not take into account.
I have been in several restaurants in Germany and Switzerland and the quality has been always great but in this restaurant I feel like in a fast food restaurants.
You cannot call a restaurant "Cantina Mexicana" when you have only one mexican beer... which it is only well-known but not the best...
I will suggest to the owners of the restaurant to read / learn a little bit more about Authentic Mexican food :)

- rather not so much seasoning or taste, just plain meet
- octopus salad had no salad in it, and the octopus seemed to be fresh out of a can from LIDL

Business dinner at Bosporus early autumn. One side was a restaurant and the other side was a takeaway.
Service was kind and helpful.
Food was good and size generous. Lamp chops were nice and tender, rich in fat.
Participants was pleased however atmosphere was spoiled by lack of intimacy in the open surroundings with people coming and going all the time.

This husband-and-wife restaurant offers excellent and authentic Thai cuisine with Thai ingredients. The cook (wife) is from Northern Thailand and certainly knows her cooking. The prices are slightly higher than expected but the portions are generous. The service (husband) is a little bit slow but friendly and competent. If you crave for excellent Thai food, this is the place in Singen to go to.

I guess I forgot Japanese too. Had suschi a coulple of times. It was good. Then the waitress recomended a Vietnamese dish. It is a aroma-rich soup. She said it came from Nam Dinh Vietnam. Secret recipe. You can have it with chicken--ga or pho--beef. Very good and too much for me. You are supposed to eat it for breakfast. The restuarant is nice Asiam atmosphere with fish aquarium. Nice. There are 4 countries so a lot of choises...yum...If you go to back door where the parking is, there is only 8 cm steps for wheelchair access!

We went to Willy's as a family in one Saturday. It was not rush hour so got a table without reservation. Checked the menu, seemed ok to all our family members (two adults, three kids). Ordered three burgers and one fingerfood platter - and waited. And waited. And waited. Mind you, there were only two, three other people there. Finally the food arrived and to my real and pleasant surprise, it really was just burgers. No sides unless you ordered them separately. Would other hamburger restaurants do the same, please!?!?! If I want a hamburger, I want a hamburger, not a one loaded with fries.
Anyway, back to the burgers, which were ok but not spectacular. Cheese burger was exactly that, so was the classic burger, very basic. The burger of the month (Surf & Turf) probably sounded better than it actually was. The fingerfood platter could be bought in any supermarket, indeed disappointing. And the service - well, nothing spectacular either. To sum up, I expected more after Reading all the reviews, and won't go back too soon.
