Excellent service and stay

Reviewed By Graceful_Empanadas

A beautiful view of the beach, comfortable beds and a large clean room greeted us after a smooth check-in. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and made more special for their 90th anniversary in 2019. Service at the restaurant and at the front desk was very professional, always doing their best to cater to your needs. We stayed at another, more expensive, onsen ryokan in the area afterwards and this was leaps and bounds better! Stay on the premium floor here and you won't regret it!

A nice family-friendly hotel. Seems to be popular as there are many guests. Good recognition of elite members. Upgraded to an ocean view room with an onsen. Snacks and evening hot meals are served in the lounge. Breakfast has a good selection of food, both local and Western. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will come again if in Wakayama.

Musashi

Hotel

One of the best hotels in Japan!

Reviewed By AnnevanAlmkerk

We had three week working tour trip in Japan and Musashi Ryokan turned out to be one of the best places we have visited. The hotel itself is a traditional one, we had a very nice room with beautiful view to the sea. The onsen is very impressive. The ones on the ground floor are the same many others in Japan in general, very clean and comfortable, the one on the top of the hotel is amazing. The moments of enjoying the sunset from there would be something to die for. What we really love from this place are the people, the hotel staff. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Mr. Yoshino, he gave us his smiles and support every time we need. He speaks very good English and very knowledgable about the whole areas, he can answer all of our questions. Mr. Yoshino shows us what hospitality of the Japanese really means! Besides, the breakfast buffet is delicious with many different kinds of Western and Japanese food. The location if perfect, bus stop is just in front of the hotel, and the beach is there, just 1 minute walk. All nice sightseeings places are in walkable distance. We extended our trip there longer than plan and absolutely we would be back. Highly recommends for travellers who would like to have relaxing and enjoyable holidays.

Great for a date, families or friends

Key Terrace Hotel Seamore is a really lovely, modern and chic hotel in the south of Wakayama Prefecture. We stayed in a sea view room with Tatatmi area, and booked dinner at one of the two traditional restaurants within the hotel complex. First, the views are wonderful. Taking a relaxing moment at the infinity footbath, or a drink in the beer garden at night are absolute musts to enjoy the sights. You can also visit the underwater observatory, or use the onsen facilities. Some other reviews have mentioned, unfortunately, the place is surrounded by nature, and that means bugs. They're like cockroaches but not. If you're creeped out by things that scuttle, don't go to the outdoor onsen. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to Sandanbeki caves, and a five minute walk to the fisherman's wharf. A short car ride will take you to Adventure World. within the hotel there are lots of facilities for enjoying your night for families or groups of friends. There's also a karaoke room on the 3rd floor (book in advance). Dinner was phenomenal. We had a selection of foods from the region, including freshly caught abalone and a freshly prepared mackerel sashimi (the head of which they turned into a soup for us once the sashimi was gone). The buffet at breakfast has a mix of all Japanese standards and Western styles. There's also the delicious pastries of Tettei bakery inside the hotel if you wanna buy something for the drive back. Would go back and would recommend the hotel to friends who are looking for a great stay in Shirahama.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the room was comfortable, breakfast was great. The view of the ocean was amazing! The gift shop is a must visit! So many unusual items at really good prices. What really blew us away was the staff. It drizzled a bit our first day while we were walking on the beach and before we made it to the front door a wonderful staff member ran out to meet us with towels. No matter what we needed or did not even know we needed they were there to assist us. Not only did they get us a taxi when we were leaving they insisted on carrying our luggage but all the staff members thanked us for coming and said good bye. I was sad to leave!

Great view with private onsen

Reviewed By James M

↓↓↓日本語↓↓↓ One of the better hotels I've stayed in at a beach. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the private hot spring bath on the balcony is very welcome. The bathing areas on B1F are private use only, so you don't have to worry about sharing with others. Very good if you're shy or have tattoos. While the hotel is on a back road that is quite steep, it wasn't hard to find. There is ample parking available. The staff are very helpful when finding places to eat in the town, as well as having a car which they use to take you to wherever you want to go around the town. We arrived a day early by mistake, but they were unperturbed and prepared our room for us. My only concern was that there is no guest WiFi, so I would recommend a pocket WiFi for your stay. All in all, a great hotel with great staff and a great view.

Lovely Japanese style room in onsen park, superb meals!

Reviewed By happyteddybear

We went there as part of our honeymoon, and we really really enjoyed our stay there. The room is clean and spacious, with a private onsen (hotspring) at the balcony. The staff were very helpful and the service was superb. It's located within the onsen park and we have access to a range of onsens. It's also within walking distance to a few sights, and there's a bus stop going to other places like tore tore fish market and the main beach. What amazed us was the quality of food - the price they quote is usually per person, and includes breakfast and dinner. We were there for 2 nights, one night it was a 10+ course traditional Japanese dinner, the other night was beef sukiyaki, the ingredient was so fresh, they were the best meals we've ever had. Breakfast was great too, the noodles were cooked in mini stoves sitting in front of you! It was a truly memorable experience! Would highly recommend!
