Reviewed By lubokujiraI would not say that the hotel is truly a "hotel" more like a hostel of a sort. Very basic, somewhat clean, and located conveniently about 50m from the beach. The breakfast could have been a bit better. It was annoying to have been kicked out at 9 am precisely by the staff. Make sure you check out by 10 am, even though the ferry is not until 4.00 or 4.30 pm, because you will be charged 2,500 yen for overstaying. That is rather annoying, because when we arrived was 11 am, and had to stay around with our luggage until 2 or 3 pm to check in, then on the way out, we had the same experience. Mercifully, the hotel lets you leave at your own risk the luggage at the counter room. There is a nice bar that is worth checking out, called something like One and ½ Half or like that. Very authentic, check it out. If you are lucky, you will get some craft beer too. We were not so lucky and had to resort to the ordinary Orion draft - a dreadful drink, reminiscent to Budwiser.

Reviewed By chipie802019False advertising. The hotel is overpriced. What you get for $200 you should get for $60. The owner and manager need a wake up call. There is no private bathroom. The bathtubs are outside in their "restaurant". It needs to be cleaned and refurbished. The rooms are right next to one another, too. For less price you can get significantly better just around the corner. Then once you get there they try to sell you on their "blue suites" in another location for only $800 more. SMH. Stay away.

Attentive Family-Run Establishment with Excellent Location
Reviewed By 12LCBreakfast and dinner here were thoughtfully prepared and traditional Japanese food. The rooms are also very traditional, with tatami matts and small bathroom. The staff is very very nice and goes out of their way to do what they can to improve your stay. The location is fantastic - only a few blocks to beautiful Aharen beach. Right in town, it is easy to visit other shops and restaurants. After some translation challenges we were able to arrange the shuttle from/ to the ferry which was very helpful. Be prepared that this is an older building. It is well-kept but not the cleanest. The air conditioning was an older unit. Internet only really worked in the lobby area. We did get a non-smoking room. As long as you can accept the relaxed "beach hotel vibe" you will enjoy your stay!

Reviewed By Coastal806979朝目覚めると目の前に広がるケラマブルーの海、それを見ながらすがすがしい朝を迎え、軽く顔を洗って朝食へ。千葉県出身の仲良いオーナー夫婦が作ってくれるお洒落な朝食を食べていると、海との間にある草むらに鹿の親子連れが同じく朝食タイムで草をムシャムシャ。心の和む朝食を終えて、ご主人の運転する車でビーチまで送迎してもらいコバルトブルーの海を独り占めしながら1年ぶりのお魚さん達とご対面。相変わらず色とりどりの魚たちが迎えてくれました。ホテルに戻り小さいけどインフィニティの様な素敵なプールで塩を落とし、屋上の展望お風呂へ。目の前に広がるケラマブルーの海を見ながら至福のひと時。17時になるとご主人が「冷たい飲み物でもどうですか？」とのお声がけで早速冷えたスパークリングワインを頂く。因みに17時から19時はワイン、ビール等のアルコールは全てフリー(無料)。飲み始めると夕食の前菜が運ばれて来て、それをつまみながらオーナー夫婦との楽しい会話と美味しい食事で気がつくともう7時30分。最後のデザートとおすすめの赤ワインでしめて部屋へ。スパークリングワイン、白ワイン、赤ワインと欲張って全て飲んだので、部屋に戻るとバタンキューで心地よい眠りにつく。あまり早く寝過ぎたので夜中の2時頃に目が覚め、備え付けのガウンをまとい再び屋上の展望風呂へ。当然誰も居ないので素っ裸でお風呂につかりながら頭上を見ると満天の星空。無数の星が天の川を中心に広がり、海だけでは無く夜空の美しさも発見し、ベッドへ戻って朝まで心地よく眠りました。

Amazing island
Reviewed By DustyPink-TravelsIntro: It can be quite tricky getting a hotel on Aka Island via the major hotel sites, luckily Seasir was not one of them. This was our first visit to the island, so we were happy to get what ever we could. Getting to the hotel: This is tricky! The only way to get to the island is via speed boat or ferry. You will need a reserved seat and the tickets run out really quick during summer! The tckets are available for booking 2 months prior to departure day, and the ferry schedule is released 2 months in advance for the whole month. I highly recommend booking your ticket via phone ASAP! The Location: The island is small, but luckily the staff will be waiting for you at the port to take you to the hotel on their small truck (the ride is 2 min and the walk is 5 min!) But you need to let them know in advance if you want pick up! The hotel is 50 m off one of the beaches. The Room: It’s more a hostel-vibe going on. The rooms are clean but don’t expect anything fancy. I also recommend sweeping the room for spiders everytime you get back. We had a visit from a Huntsman spider in our room one day after we returned from the beach. And trust me, it’s not pleaseant, they are super quick and huge! Unique details: There are Kerama deers wandering around the island! The cutest small deers ever! The island is also home to turtles who lay eggs on the beach and coral reefs! All this just meters away from the hotel! Good to know: Make sure NOT to miss the food-schedule at the hotel! I also recommend trying out the Okinawa Ramen at the lunch restaurant close to the port. It’s the best I’ve ever had. And if you don’t like Ramen, go for the Tex Mex Rice! Customer Service: The staff is super nice at the hotel!

Great location
Reviewed By Pete3rdVery clean and tidy with a reasonable price. The Muma owns the place and pretty much runs it by herself. Harbour front so it's within walking distance to the ferry terminal and all of the neat little restaurants and bars. Rooms are small but so is everything in Japan apart from its population. We will definitely be back :)

Reviewed By にょろモン初久米島に利用しました。 お部屋は２階のツインで、部屋にユニットバスが着いています。 壁紙なんかが少しはがれていたけど、お値段がお安いのでそんなにはきになりませんでした。 廊下には共同の冷蔵庫が置いてあり自由に使えるので、翌日はての浜に行くのにペットボトルを凍らせることができました。 朝は食堂でおばぁ～の手作りご飯がいただけます。 とてもほっとするちょうどよい量です。 宿に戻ってくると思わず ただいまぁ～ って言いたくなる宿です。
