The name "Wattwurm", is the Frisian word for a lugworm. Their mascot is a worm, so we had to have 'The Worm Burger' (does not contain worms)... A huge tasty burger, eaten in a cosy/quaint Frisian-style restaurant and bar. Definitely worth a 2nd visit.

This cafe has a huge selection of coffees. I got a large cup of normal arabica coffee, and my wife agreed to try her first cup of coffee ever, and decided on a "Chocolate-Minty-Espresso". I'm happy to report, the she really enjoyed it, even though she hates normal filters coffee :)We sat in a sofa in the "Kuschelecke", (sweethearts corner), overlooking the old town square, where the merchants were packing up, from the Saturday farmers market. The waitress was very friendly, and took her time explaining which coffee beans had been used, and how to get the best tasting experience from the Chocolate minty coffee. She deserved her tip, even though it isn't customary.Definitely worth a visit

Mit direktem Blick auf das Wattenmeer, bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse und bei nicht so schönem Wetter im Restaurant, beide Möglichkeiten passen. Und neben dem tollen Ausblick wird noch eine ausgezeichnete Küche geboten. Die Karte ist überschaubar, was aber kein Problem darstellt, da alle Gerichten sehr gut schmecken. Das Schollenfilet, sei hier nur als ein Beispiel hervorgehoben-ist perfekt. Dazu kommt noch ein so freundlicher,netter, kompetenter und um alle Anfragen bemühter Service und das ganze zu überaus moderaten Preisen. Das kann nur ein sehr groÃes Lob für die gesamte Mannschaft um Küchenchef Carsten Hansen geben. Viel Erfolg auch weiterhin-Moin Moin

Waren 3x zum Nachtessen im Neuwarft und es war immer sehr lecker. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig, die Portionen gross und der Service aufmerksam. Das Restaurant isr sehr schön und im maritimen Stil dekoriert. Sehr empfehlenswert!

The restaurant is decorated with ship models and other original art pieces , giving a cozy atmosphere round the 15-20 tables. The menu mainly contain fish dishes as they have their own in-house smoke treating facility for fish. As we are not so fond of fish, we ordered the schnitzel which proved to be a good choice. Not only a big piece of meat , but also very tasty with a variety of vegetables and potatoes. Also not expensive; Less than 30 euro for two included beer and tips.

We had dinner here. Regional Sauerfleisch. Super seafood here as well. Great relaxed environment and great beer. You can also walk in and grab a variety of Fischbrotchen. They have shrimp, herring, salmon, and a plethora of others.
