Nice atmosphere and good food. Wish we had time in our visit to go back as they have an impressive looking pizza oven. The service was was prompt and friendly and English was spoken and understood.

We loved it so much that we are returning this evening. The staff are very friendly and tried really hard to translate for us. There is even a menu written in English. The food was very tasty and there is plenty of choice for vegetarians. The wine is served in a litre carafe and is very reasonably priced, but very smooth. When I asked for a limoncello to finish, they gave us one each for free, even though it wasn't even on the menu! Definitely recommended for vegetarians.

The inevitable address for fans of Italian ice cream and kitchens. Together with a cafe Santin definitely the best in Wernigerode. What needs to be sorted Yogurt strawberry smoothie with fresh strawberries and whipped cream of course without doing lines (yum yum) then one fine espresso and that's it.

Located near the Rathaus square the place is very clean and pleasant inside with the Murani glass chandeliers. Pizza was very good, so was beer that we had. You can eat either outside or inside. The staff was talking Italian and the radio transmitting Italian songs.

I have been teaching at the Hochschule Harz for 5 years as a guest professor from Canada. When I want an affordable meal, I go to Casa Mia for their great food. Pasta is excellent, salads also good. Local beer/wine selection is good. Very friendly service. Grappa at the end of the meal is also nice. Consistently an excellent restaurant! No hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

The owner of 'La Rustica' helps his guests to make a perfect choice from the various authentic Italian specials on the menu. The food is excellent, the atmosphere on the lovely terrace on a warm summer evening is great partly thanks to the 'entertaining' skills of the Italian owner. Great value for your money !
