I went to the restaurant at Kumagaya prefecture on a Friday night. Not crowded. As it’s out of the city, essentially nobody in the restaurant could speak English and there was no English menu. But I didn’t mind as that was to be expected. The food was pretty expensive and it was quite a long wait before the food was ready. While the unagi was grilled till smokey and flavourful, I felt it wasn’t worth the price it commanded. Nevertheless an authentic Japanese experience.

近くの寿司店で、客があったりした時に出前を頼むことが多いが、上チラシなど使われている魚、かんぴょう、でんぶ等変わることなく、すし飯も上等だ。殊にインド洋でとれたマグロは上質だ。

お店の外にメニューが出ていないので、入るのに躊躇しました。もしかしたら少しお値段が高い？と思ったので。店内に入ると、地元の人達に愛されているお店なのかなと思いました。お座敷はすでにいっぱいでカウンター席も６席位ですぐにいっぱいになりました。予約の電話も入ったりと、とても人気のあるお店なんだなと思いました。ご主人と女性2人の計3人で切り盛りされて忙しそうでした。そんなこともあって入店して暫く注文を聞いてもらえなかったことだけが残念でした。友人は海鮮丼1,400円くらい、私は刺身定食1,100円を注文しましたが美味しかったです。サラダ、みそ汁、茶わん蒸しがそれぞれについていました。刺身は勿論美味しかったのですが、私は茶わん蒸しがすごく気に入りました。友人が暑くて扇いでいたら、ご主人がエアコンの温度を下げてくれたり、お手製？の内輪を貸してくれたりと気さくな感じでした。女性の方も「ご飯はこれ位？」と量を聞いてくれたのには驚きました。私がもし大食いだったら大盛りにしてくれたのだろうか・・・（笑）

国道17号バイパス沿いにあり、広い駐車場もあります。安いし美味しい回転寿司屋さんで、スシローオリジナルの寿司もあるので、子供にも人気があり、よく訪問します！

ランチはリーズナブルで、珈琲付き。量もたっぷりで味もよい。行田近辺のお寿司屋ではトップだと思う。アジのたたきがとてもおいしいが、塩辛はちょっとかな。
