Crepes wrapped around various fillings can be had in several sizes. They were very filling and very good. Pickled vegetables and miso pork are a local specialty we were told. We ate lunch here on both days of our stay in Nagatoro. The English menu and the ordering system made it easy to get what you want without any language difficulty. Two women (mother and daughter??) were working away at the flat top grill behind a window of the food stall. You decide what you want and put your money in the machine which produces a ticket listing what you want. You give the ticket to the cooks. They give you a chit showing a number which they call when your order is ready. Our only problem was we didnât know when our number was called. Other people in line and the women making the crepes kept an eye out for us and called us when our lunch were ready.It is easy to find the place on the souvenir shopping street near the access stairs to the Nagatoro Iwadatami Rocks and the boat dock - just look for the long line of folks waiting for their orders. Across the street from the food stall is a drinks machine.Delicious!

Bamiyan is far from fancy dining. But it still has a lot going for it: very reasonable prices, quick service with really tasty food, a simple "all you can drink" bar, a menu with lots of pictures and some English. And cheap booze -- only Y100 for "on the rocks" drinks served up at your table at almost any hour of the day. We LOVE Bamiyan and the specialty items on their seasonally-changed menu. It's a chain, very standardized nationwide. But if you're hungry and don't want to work too hard to find food, you can always depend on these restaurants for a tasty, filling meal at decent prices. Oh, and they have a dirt-cheap daily lunch special every day except Sunday.
