Words cannot describe the wonderful taste of top choice meat grilled to your perfection over an open wood fire. The atmosphere of a 5 star restaurant can be found in this cozy, warm, family owned restaurant. The moment you walk into the door, the aroma of the food makes your taste buds water. The staff greats you and escorts you to your seat. While you may choose off the main menu of many find dishes, there is also a special menu that the Chef has prepared that has always caught my attention. As you decide which meal you would like, the Chef comes around to each table, telling you a little about the âSpecialsâ or the choices of meat and how it is prepared. A very personal approach, as if you are the only customer there. They are so have âThemesâ for special times of the year. Our first time was Valentine Day, and now we have made it a tradition. You can even book your reservation on line. But do so early, as the restaurant bookings fills up quickly.

We entered without reservation. All was full but we were told we could wait outside on the terras for 5mins since some people were about to pay. The owner came out with us to quickly put together table and chairs (September so terras wasnt actually there) , the owner brought our drinks straight away and even offered us a welcome cigarette...After a few mins some table freed up and we were explained how it works with the large skewer they gave us. In the middle of the table a gas grill was lit for us to bake our own meat.Vegetable buffet was fine, there was enough choice, there were about 10 different kinds of meat to choose from which were nicely marinated and tender. The only pity was that the meat got some funny taste from the fumes generated by the dripping fat (and that from the people before us) on the fake coals above the fire. My colleague mentioned exactly the same afterwards so i wasnt imagining... All in all a nice place, great concept, very friendly people just a pity that the finishing touch was missing.

Attached to a hotel, normally these kind of venues are mediocre at best. Not this one. We didnât want to go anywhere else. Starters such as soup and burnt ends were sublime. Steaks from aged in house product cooked to perfection. Service also very courteous and honest.
