I have been to this restaurant twice during my stay at Saarlouis. They have really good Greek for and ambiance is also very good. I am a vegetarian but they had good options for vegetarians also. Staff is Ok.

We stayed in the Hotel nearby and decided to eat in this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The service was ok, the atmosphere charming (old building and candles), the menu very varied and the food delicious. It is a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it.

This bistro is inside an hotel and offer an independent entrance and parking faciities. The ambience is perfect, an eegant and contemporary mix of soft elegance and traditional inspired touches ( look at their celings).Understated elegance, a perfecty balanced menu offer with a touch of French inspiration and some great classics revisited.Friendly and accurate service made by a staff well trained, food is really well presented and well cooked, even a nicoise salad was just perfect.A little sow the cooking but the atmosphere is so good that you will not regret any minute spent here. Vorweg: Man macht definitiv nichts falsch, wenn man hier einkehrt. Bodenständige Küche, vom Ambiente erinnert alles an die 70er Jahre, der Service ist ok, die Karte bietet vielen Geschmäckern etwas, nur Vegetarier dürften sich etwas verloren fühlen. Champignonrahmschnitzel fantastisch! Frische Sauce. Ford in bleu sah auch gut aus, Pommes selbstgemacht, Bratkartoffeln sehr gut, Whiskymariniertes Rumpsteak sehr gut und perfekt auf den Punkt gegart. Das grobe stimmt, was jedoch Abzüge gibt sind die Feinheiten: Salatdressing langweilig, Chilimarmelade zum Steak Convenience aus dem Asia-Laden und mit viel zu wenig Geschmack und Schärfe.Wir waren die einzigen Gäste an einem Samstag Abend!!!Das hat das Restaurant nicht verdient. Vielleicht hilft es, sich auf ein Thema zu konzentrieren. Entweder gut bürgerlich, denn das kann der Koch definitiv oder moderne Küche, dann aber besser richtig und OHNE Convenience

Words cannot describe the wonderful taste of top choice meat grilled to your perfection over an open wood fire. The atmosphere of a 5 star restaurant can be found in this cozy, warm, family owned restaurant. The moment you walk into the door, the aroma of the food makes your taste buds water. The staff greats you and escorts you to your seat. While you may choose off the main menu of many find dishes, there is also a special menu that the Chef has prepared that has always caught my attention. As you decide which meal you would like, the Chef comes around to each table, telling you a little about the âSpecialsâ or the choices of meat and how it is prepared. A very personal approach, as if you are the only customer there. They are so have âThemesâ for special times of the year. Our first time was Valentine Day, and now we have made it a tradition. You can even book your reservation on line. But do so early, as the restaurant bookings fills up quickly.

Service and food were both delightful. We had the tomato soup (great!) and the bolognese (good). They had a cheese/bacon/pancake dish that my friend said was also very good. Also impressed that they were open at 3pm on a sunday. I will definitely be back with friends if we come visit the ruins again.

The quality of this restaurant is all encompassing, with a lovely setting, excellent service and knowledgeable, attentive staff serving a variety of food that at times challenges convention with the combinations used. Add to this an extensive wine list featuring regional and national product and you enjoy a perfect evening.
