Found the place by accident, its on a pontoon on the Danube, hence the name. The first night i enjoyed the food, all seafood, so returned again the next night. That was even bette, mixture of seafood and meat. Excellent. Attentive service, nice wines. Certainly return here again.

Elegantly decorated, spacious cafe with wide selection of food. Quick and professionel service but could be a little more cheerful. The outside tables are perfect to sit on a sunny afternoon and watch the passersby of Aleksandrovska street. We are all satisfied with the quality of the food served during our limited lunch time in Ruse.

Both winter and summer it is a great place to have a stylish dinner.Very good wine (from their own winery), very good quality food, perfect service. Good position, on one of the hills around Rousse, just next to the TV tower of the city (there is a nice cafe on top of it).Summer time you can sit in the outside garden, winter time inside the beautiful really nice decorated restaurant.

Good and fast service, staff smiling and polite. As a professional i would say good product it be better if staff gets training on asking customers if they want starters first and mains after clearing starters, also double checking for extra drinks and if everything is ok would be much nicer and what should happen anyway. Its is not a judgement but a way that things can become very competitive as these are weak sides of many places in the city!Keep the good work!

Planet food has a small food menu, however, it has a wide variety of coffees, cocktails, fresh juices and homemade lemonade. They make delicious sangria for a very reasonable price and also have some interesting beers on display. Despite their inside sitting area being small, they compensate with a large, cozy sitting area outside. If you get cold they will provide you with fluffy blankets.

A little kitschy maybe, but cute and great fun. The food is excellent, served in hugh proportions. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, the menu extensive. If you want a meal in a traditional mehana atmosphere, this is the place to go.

Overall, I was pretty happy with my experience here. Although it was a Friday night, the place was fairly empty at 7pm. I had even called to book a table, which I then realised was clearly not necessary. I liked the arty and slightly hipster décor, and it was definitely cosy and welcoming. The menu is quite comprehensive with a good selection of salads and mains. In the end I went for one of the house salads and the trout. The latter was served with possibly the best roasted potatoes I have ever eaten. I can't put my finger on it, but I think it was the combination of salt and dill that made them truly delicious. The fish was also quite nice. I also ordered two glasses of Traminer.Service was average, I guess. On the friendly side, for sure, but definitely still very Bulgarian.They have free Wi-Fi (ask for the password) and play decent pop/commercial music.

Amazing food and services. We were 3 persons and everyone tried something else. From salads to przoli, steaks to deserts, everything was very tasty and well presented. Waiting time is very low. The variety is amazing, and everything we have tried was very good. We will come back one day for sure.Thank you for the good words. After 10 days and 5 towns this place takes the prize. Service with a smile ! Lovely food and drinks selection. Particularly liked the the pork shank, duck Margret and the stuffed chicken dishes.( we ate here twice) the French nougat dessert was also delish.
