Reviewed By PhileasFogg46Where do I begin, the welcome was friendly and also greeted in English (Which always helps) Then I was shown to my room which was spacious, clean & welcoming. Read in a review early about the mini bar, just for your information they are always expensive. The Menu granted is limited and also not cheap in the restaurant, but I feel this ensures you have the best of local & fresh produce from the surrounding areas. The food is fresh and tasty and well presented. The staff are welcoming and friendly and always make you feel at ease. The breakfast is excellent with a wide ranging choice of jams, breads, cereals and drinks and too many more to mention. The setting is just breathtaking, beautiful woods and an amazing view of Rudolstadt and the valley. The tower is well kept and beautifully preserved. This was a business trip for me and not one of leisure, but I would definitely come back for leisure, overall I would say this is the best hotel in Rudolstadt and surrounding areas. Loved every moment of my time here and has made my business trip that much more enjoyable experience. Bravo and keep up the excellent work.

Peeping behind the curtain of old DDR
Reviewed By RobVGLet's put it right. This is a nice hotel, very clean and nicely kept in good shape, but neverteless a bit dated. Maybe this is just what it gives it the authenticity it needs. If you want to feel staying at a hotel in the old DDR times, this must be it. The same goes for the entire town of Rudolstadt... Probably this hotel is one of the better choices in town and not expensive at all. So why hesitate... ? The food at the restaurant is super and the hotel has a large free parking lot.

First time we stayed in the apartment in the attic ( May 2017) and December in one of the first floor apartments. We can see the Christmas market from our windows. Everything is nearby. The apartments are clean, modern and stylish. If you are visiting Rudolstadt this must be the place where you should stay!

Reviewed By Wachhund SEs hat einen leicht ländlichen flar, aber ist doch Zentrumsnahe. Sehr angenehme Vermieter. Dir Zimmer sind teilweise modernisiert. Das WLAN ist sehr nützlich, aber noch nicht in allen Ferienwohnungen verfügbar. Wer mit dem Zug oder Flugzeug anreist kann den Shuttel Service in Anspruch nehmen. Wir kamen mit dem Flugzeug und es klappte perfekt.

Habe lange nicht mehr so gut übernachtet und das zu einem Preis von 79 €. Die Lage direkt am Markt ist klasse ... Würde ich immer wieder buchen ...Leider zum Tanzfest 2021 schon ausgebucht ...
