Traditional authentic Greek Taverna since 1981! Niohori family restaurant serve fresh meat from own boutcer shop across the road. Mama Kiki made every day Moussaka-Stifado-Pastitsio-kleftiko-lamp in the oven-stuffed tomatoes and peppers-imam-and many others greek mezes ! Irene (Kikis daughter)serve food and drinks with a big smile! Nice family atmosphere and low prices!

We had a delightful meal at the Niohori Restaurant, starting with a very friendly welcome from the hosts. We began the meal with zucchini fritters which were light and tasty: crisp on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside. The aubergine imman was a real success as a vegetarian choice while the lamb kleftiko was full of flavour: soft and delicious meat blending with lovely vegetables and topped with herbed cheese. The house wines were good and we were given fruit as a surprise extra to finish off our meal. Throughout, the service was charming and friendly and the meal was remarkably good value. Would definitely go back!

It's really good, and photo worthy. And the grilled manouri cheese on a bed of roasted almond slivers with local honey over the top - amazing. Then the owner Andreas has a lagniappe (compliments of the house) desert of homemade ice cream with a sauce of these tiny cherries and chopped pistachios. And to make sure your stomach is ok with all that food, another lagniappe, a digestive, a new one he is trying out of prosecco and brandy over pineapple, and he insists you not forget to eat the pineapple. Just a perfect evening. And to cap it off, he sends you over to his new, and much fancier, bar, Flaws (4 blocks away), that has some really excellent wines. Each glass is served to you on black slate with 3 little tidbits (different tidbits with each new glass of wine).

Came across this place totally by accident while walking around trying to decide on a place for dinner.
Wow, I wasn’t disappointed!!
Probably the best food I’ve had while visiting Rhodes.
The Lamb shank with honey and mustard was fantastic :)
Red wine was also great.

The food was exquisite. Superb hospitality and excellent knowledge of the food, particularly where each cut of beef comes from. One can tell a lot from the quality of food particularly when the owner and the staff know where it’s being sourced.
I’ll definitely be returning before this holiday is over and most certainly be recommending it to friends.

The perfect place to have homemade food in Rhodes. It has five different choices of homemade food (usually the price is 5 euro / plate and the portions are very satisfying!
It also has souvlaki, giro with fresh potato fries, burger and everything is really tasty. The place is small but the food will compensate you and the owner Dina is sweet and lovely. Perfect for lunch, try it!

If You are looking for great place to have karaoke night or play beer pong or just be little away from all barstreet mess I suggest You to meet Angelo and his team in Boomerang bar. I had so much fun in this place, staff is friendly and the boss is serving You drinks at the bar makes this place so special and You always feel welcomed there and like at home. Thank You Angelo You are the best. I know this place since 2014 and I will always return there every time I am on Rhodes.

Honestly the nicest bar in the Ixia area in my opinion. Lots of good choices here for food and alcohol and all at a great price. The beers are cold served in an ice cold glass and the food is amazing too. No mithering to get you in, just a simple sign inviting you in. It's a beautiful bar with comfy places to sit, And games to play of you wish such as darts and drafts. The owners couldn't make you feel more at home. They are welcoming and attentive and so very kind. Thanks for the memories. Vicki and Greg x

Absolutely wonderful fresh seafood, caught on the day! You can surely feel the difference how good it is!
Other traditional Greek dishes are great too. Good value, and great chat with the staff, all very welcoming and friendly. Cosy little street nicely hidden from the town square.
Definitely visit if you are after some proper fresh seafood, caught by their own boat!
