De eerste dag in bad Bertrich. We hebben hier onze eerste avondmaal gegeten. Prima eten en een an sich goede bediening ... tot ik aan het eind de kaart nogmaals vroeg. Het werd iets âkouderâ binnen. Verder prima en zeker een aanrader.

Hubs and I had a lovely dinner here. It is a about a 10 minute walk uphill from the square but absolutely worth it. We were seated without a reservation. The inside is wonderfully quirky and looks like a cellar. We split a terrific salmon dish (one of the specials). Service was excellent. I highly recommend a visit!

I have been going here for years. I have never accounted such poor service and attitude from staff. We waited over an hour for food. We will not be returning. I would recommend they invest more customer services training with their staff. Lovely spot which will attract customers.. but...

Have visited before for just pizza which was lovely with so much choice, but this time we tried the bruschetta and also a cheesy bread to start. Hot, tasty and delicious. We both had a pasta dish for main - a carbonara and a tomato rigatoni. Both amazing. Some little dough balls - warmed were brought out with our main too. Excellent prices and choice of in/outdoor seating.

We have been coming here for a few years and the food and service gets better every time. Food is always quick and tasty. The owner is a rear guy and the waitresses are lovely. Couldnât recommend enough.

We didn't really like this town because it was nothing but one touristy restaurant after another, but we were in a hurry and didn't have much time to go somewhere else, so we ended up at Zum Alten Stadttor after reading some good reviews on TripAdvisor. After taking our order the waiter came back to say they had run out of sausages (at 6PM in a German restaurant?) so we had to share whatever was left. My husband's salad contained a very long black hair, which obviously belonged to the lady that was preparing the meals. After that, our appetite was gone and we left.

The food here is just perfect authentic Italian food made by an italian cook, i come here almost every week. Everytime something different steak, pizza, pasta and fish. Everything is cooked to perfection. It doesn't matter if they have stress in the kitchen or have time to take care about all the little details, everytime the food and the service are great.This is an authentic italian restaurant with an authentic Italian chef cook.

We were for 5 days in Reil and ate every day in another restaurant. This Italian restaurant had nice Italian dishes. I had capraccio. The cook was a little to enthousiastic with oil and vinnegar, but still it was a nicemeal. As a main I had meat with a little pasta as side dish. It was a very nice dish.

We eat hear occasionally and their meals are excellent, nutritious and well prepared. Wine list is modest and inexpensive.We also indulge in their Ice creams and sundaes etc.,. Do try the Spaghetti Ice Creams as they are wonderful.The proprietor and wife are typically Italian and warm who take a great pride in the venture.A good place to eat modestly but well.
