Reviewed By Prakash_J_01Great view from the room. The hotel is situated in a very green and picturesque location. Good base for exploring the region. Decent rooms, friendly staff. Good vegetarian options at breakfast and dinner. But got boring / repetitive after a couple of days. Other restaurants are a few kilometres away, so best to have a car.

Outstanding Hotel

We chose the Hotel Rehlegg, partly for its stunning location, but also for its facilities. We couldn’t have made a better choice than the Rehlegg; the staff were helpful beyond all expectations, and their generosity and attention to detail really were outstanding. We held the actual ceremony in the hotel’s garden, with the assistance of some of the hotel staff. I can’t emphasize enough how much effort and care the staff and management expended on our little celebration, and how they made the stay a very special time for us and our family. At every turn, we were surprised by the extraordinary efforts the Hotel Rehlegg made to ensure that our wedding was as beautiful and memorable as it possibly could be. We really are very grateful for everything they did for us; they helped us create the most beautiful memories, from the ceremony in their garden to the photos at the beautiful Lake Hintersee and the little church by the river. We really recommend this hotel for its outstanding helpfulness, friendliness and generosity. Oh yes, the meals also were fabulous, and their espresso is outstanding :)

In July 2020 we opened "Das Refugium", an extra building with 6 outstanding spacious guestrooms with "Inroom-Wellness" and a marvellous mountain view. Our guesthouse is located on the wonderful lake "Hintersee" surrounded by the Bavarian Mountains, on the entrance of the National Park Berchtesgaden. Here you will find a vantage point for many sightseeing-trips, hikes or other sports-activities. The spacious and lovingly arranged rooms with a relaxing sitting area and a marvellous mountain view provide every comfort you need on your vacation. Our family-run guesthouse is outfitted with a Bavarian cuisine, a cozy and stylish decorated restaurant and a wonderful sunny terrace.

Reviewed By Nancy KWonderful experience and service. Wolfgang was an exceptional host. The food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious. Best we had. The hike around Lake Hintersee and to Ramsau was great. St Sebastian church was beautiful inside and out. The cemetery a must see. We went to a ale the chairlift up the mountain and it was closed for wind. The views up the mountain road were “Sound of Music” pretty. We saw Kongisee lake on a rainy day and did the hike around Lake Obersee. Lake Hintersee is right out the door and a beautiful hike and less crowded than Kongisee. The gorge hike was nice but not as pretty as in Slovenia with the turquoise water of Bovec. The kid you have to pay parking and need euros up at the trail entrance. Wolfgang gave us s card to discount these items. Very helpful. Just a beautiful and clean area. Would love to come back. AAAA+++++.

Great hospitality
Reviewed By MexiDiverWe stayed with Anja and Richard with our two beagles. The room was spacious, the breakfast great and the service by Anja was superb. The beer garden is a great place to rest after a long day of hiking. The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of the Wilbachklamm which is a great hike. All in all we were all very happy to have stayed here!

Bavarian chalet by a mountain stream with a view of four Alpine peaks. The guest house was completely renovated in 2015 and offers 10 rooms in the style of modern classics. Rooms are equipped with bathrooms with showers. Breakfast is offered by the local dairy. The hall is equipped with a fireplace, a summer terrace and a covered summer garden. Free parking and high-speed WiFi throughout.

Reviewed By HdG1986Nice people (owner, etc.), breakfast is diverse/included in room price. Rooms are big enough. Parking was a bit hard, but they are busy with the road in front of it. It's quiet. You can have a look at the Wimbachklamm (waterfalls). And from this place you can even walk/climb the Watzmann.

Reviewed By SusanneMunichThis inn is overrated, the best about it is its scenic location. The rooms are small with tiny bathrooms, the mattresses desperately need exchanging. It is certainly not "incredibly clean" as one reviewer wrote, at best average. Whilst they have renovated the terrace and one part of the restaurant, the other part remains old-fashioned and musty. The breakfast is a disgrace.

Our guest house and restaurant is in the Alpen - National - Park, which is between the Zauberwald and the Klausbach.Our house is adjacent to the lake, with a breath taking view of the country and mountain side.In our familyrun guesthouse, our newlydecorated rooms are approx 36 sq.m.

Reviewed By wilmas905Seeklause Pension in Hintersee has an excellent location in front of the Lake. The attention is impeccable and very attentive to any information you need and accompanied by a very good breakfast. Hygiene rules are followed throughout the pension. Seeklause Pension has a restaurant with excellent food and very good service... all this plus the perfect location make this place a magical place! I personally recommend it!

Reviewed By Dennis MI'll start by saying, that we're not locals - so if you cannot speak fluent German, I wouldn't recommend staying here, as you feel very excluded. The hotel itself I'll give 4/5 stars but the restaurant 3/5 stars. We booked a mountain view room, which gave us an amazing view, such a peaceful area. There is an elevator for those concerned and plenty of free onsite parking. The room itself ; - Bathroom - very tight , with a shower that didn't drain, so you were showering in 2 inches of water. - Beds - relatively comfortable but like most european hotels, the pillows were full of air and totally uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well once. - Plenty of storage so no issues there. - The WiFi was unbearably slow and borderline unusable Breakfast - Breakfast ran from 630-930 , and as we like to sleep in, by the time we got there (8-830) , most of the items were gone, and not restocked. Definitely a major issue. The restaurant - Overpriced and average food , maybe because we aren't locals. - Service was good, and one of the Servers could speak english with no problem. For what we paid for the room and the amount of time that we spent there, it was just acceptable. The restaurant is closed on Thursdays so seek an alternative

Reviewed By Jaroslav UBrand new spacious studio with terrace beautifully equipped. Free of charge wellness included (sauna and tempered swimming pool). Fantastic breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, local salami, butter, cheese and lot of other delicious food. Great dinner ala cart with fresh salad bar. Ideal location with 30 minutes from Lofer ski area, 10 minutes from Konig lake and 3 minutes from slide hill.
