Heard a new American-style fast food restaurant called Cowboy Express BBQ had opened so I decided to give it a try for lunch today. Chose the pulled pork (100 gms with spicy bbq sauce) which came on a bed of rice plus french fries and coleslaw with a Coke to wash it down. Meat was tender and tasty; ditto for sauce. Pretty authentic flavors -- nice to have tastes of home. They offer several side dishes including a couple kinds of fries, salads, steamed veggies. Prices mostly RMB 20-50 for sandwiches and meals. Server also spoke pretty good english -- wanted to know my favorite NBA team.

Popular with locals, this restaurant features outdoor Seating and reasonable food. Informal...it's the polar opposite of the nearby Tang Yuan.

Şehir sushi restaurantları dolu. Hangisi daha iyi denemeden bilemiyoruz. Biz de gözümüzün kestirdiği bu sushiciye girip oturuyoruz. Çeşit bol, görünüm zayıf, hizmet vasattı. Fiyatlar da eh denecek kadar. Biz burayı pek sevemedik.

越乡(花城汇店) 在天河区花城大道89号花城广场花城汇 ，这里人不多，去的时候店里就我们一桌，服务员很热情，态度友好，菜品也挺有特色的，我比较喜欢吃这里的豆腐煲，很好吃

Recommended by our local hosts we had a great Sunday lunch. Variety of foods on a lazy suzy turning table were excellent. The mini shrimps were particularly good. Look out for some odd bits if ordering duck or chicken as everything goes in the pot!

如果受不了廣州相對惡化的空氣，往北坐一站高鐵，30分鐘就是清遠。清遠除了遊山遊江洗溫泉，也可以吃雞吃鵝串牛雜，但居然也有不錯的咖啡店，每個咖啡師各有不同的拿手絕活，店內佈置別緻，氣氛輕鬆，離江近，離美食也近，值得小歇片刻。
