Sono già stata in questa malga sia durante l'inverno, arrivandoci compiendo una bellissima passeggiata con le ciaspole e mangiando in una deliziosa stube in legno, sia d'estate. Io adoro lo Spiegeleier (Patate arrostite con speck e uova) quindi lo ordino spesso quando vado in Alto Adige e in questo posto ho mangiato quello più buono in assoluto. Aggiungo che i gestori si sono dimostrati molto cordiali e gentili.

We stopped off for a night in Sterzing and wandered off to find some food and drink. We ended up at the bar 12erl for beers. Complimentary crisps with the great tasting local beer. Good atmosphere as were others chatting away. Across the pavement they have additional seating area for daytime visitors for when it gets busy. Nice.

We stayed here one night on the way home and we enjoyed our stay very much.Although we came for the Einhorn restaurant the rooms in the hotel, the garden, the sauna and especially the service of the staff we appreciated highly. The hotel price is very reasonable when compared with e.g. the center of Merano where we stayed in two hotels. From 15 to 17 hrs there is free tea and coffee with sweets. The breakfast in the morning is great, eggs in any form you wish, fruit, cakes, cheeses, meat, espresso/cappuccino, tea, juice, very complete! What made a nice surprise was that when we just finished our breakfast we got a small birthday cake (the staff had noticed from my passport that it was my birthday): it tasted delicious. The two star restaurant Einhorn is worth it's rating. Two menus to choose from (or the combination of both) and superb wines accompanying the dishes. We had an enjoyable evening.We will probably go back during our next holiday in the area.Dear guest,thank you that you take the time to write such a fantastic valuation about our hotel. Ciao mi sono fermato in questa struttura per puro caso, alle ore 20,20 è difficile trovare qualche ristorante aperto da queste parti, comunque ci hanno accolti ed abbiamo cenato, due piatti di canederli in brodo (due canederli ogni piatto), un piatto di canederli e finferli con contorno di insalata mista, cotoletta alla milanese e patatine fritte, un litro di acqua naturale, due birre medie, due caffè totale euro 54,20, sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito dalla qualità del cibo e un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, da queste parti costa di più rispetto all'Italia, anche se siamo sempre in Italia, complimenti anche alla cameriera che ci ha accolto con un sorriso.....da queste parti non è così scontato, da provare ciao alla prox.

Have been having lunch and dinners in the Brauhaus. Enjoyed very much the Maerzen fresh beer from their own micro brewery. Recommend their jumbo sized and thin pizzas. Tonight I tried their freshly prepared chestnut pasta with walnut sauce - what a great taste - very recommendable for gourmets that like to try out new food creations.

A fantastic location t the bottom of the slope looking up to the Kalcher Alm, you really can't beat the view especially on a sunny day.Lots of tables and deck chairs outside make it an ideal spot to take a breakReasonable prices with a good choice of drinks and food, ideal for a day on the mountain
