We had lunch in this restaurant, in the patio just outside of the building. Food was very good, and the portions were enormous!

Huge breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, cakes and strudels all afternoon, at least 4 courses dinner, not including the salad bar, cheese and desserts.

We have been going to the Pizzeria Bruckenwirt 2-3 times every summer since 1995 during our holidays to South Tyrol.Since then the seating and fittings have improved (the inside was all redone in 2003 in comfy wooden style) but since the very beginning the food has always been great, the service lightning-fast, and portions very generous (don't even dream of finishing one of the spaghetti dishes on your own).Apart from the great selection of Pizzas (see the link to their website), there are many pasta dishes as well as northern Italian dishes such as Tagliata with wickedly garlicky bread. To top it all off, the homemade Tiramisu is out of this world (nice and thick and not too sweet). The Pizzeria also brews its own beer (one of the fermentation stills is inside the dining hall).The view from inside and from the terrace is nice and dogs are welcome.It's "only" a pizzeria, thus the 4* and not 5*, but it is one of the best, if not the best pizzeria I have ever been to, consistently for the last 16 years.

I've been here both summer and winter, last time last July: it's a very nice hut with big patio, where they serve typical food of this area, with an excelent service (friendly people have to be rewarded!).

Nothing much to expect for. Good Pizza, disappointing schnizel and a poor wine list.Service was ok. Sitting area was nice and pleasant .

The bergrestaurant is easily reachable. Canederli are good, view great and there is a litte but very nice playground for kids.Good choice in the area.Price ok.

Der Ungererhof liegt am Ende der StraÃe im Jaufental. Wenn man glaubt âhier kommt nichts mehrâ, wartet dieser Hof. Daher unbedingt reservieren. Die Speisekarte wechselt nach Saison und Angebot. Aber alles was gekocht wird ist frisch und aus der Umgebung. Das gilt im Besonderen für das Fleisch. Wir waren zweimal Abends zu Gast und erlebten wunderbare Suppen, ausgezeichnete Fleischgerichte und gestern die besten Marillenknödel, die man sich vorstellen kann. Das Ambiente rustikal, der Service herzlich, das Essen fantastisch. Immer wieder.

A fantastic location t the bottom of the slope looking up to the Kalcher Alm, you really can't beat the view especially on a sunny day.Lots of tables and deck chairs outside make it an ideal spot to take a breakReasonable prices with a good choice of drinks and food, ideal for a day on the mountain

We stayed here one night on the way home and we enjoyed our stay very much.Although we came for the Einhorn restaurant the rooms in the hotel, the garden, the sauna and especially the service of the staff we appreciated highly. The hotel price is very reasonable when compared with e.g. the center of Merano where we stayed in two hotels. From 15 to 17 hrs there is free tea and coffee with sweets. The breakfast in the morning is great, eggs in any form you wish, fruit, cakes, cheeses, meat, espresso/cappuccino, tea, juice, very complete! What made a nice surprise was that when we just finished our breakfast we got a small birthday cake (the staff had noticed from my passport that it was my birthday): it tasted delicious. The two star restaurant Einhorn is worth it's rating. Two menus to choose from (or the combination of both) and superb wines accompanying the dishes. We had an enjoyable evening.We will probably go back during our next holiday in the area.Dear guest,thank you that you take the time to write such a fantastic valuation about our hotel.
