Food was good. The atmosphere and views are what made me come back and want to stay here. It's a dreamy little place. The waiter was cute and funny. The girls I was with wanted to go back just to see him!They are only open for food for lunch on weekdays (at least in the winter) and drinks/coffee later. They have odd opening and closing times so check before you walk over..** disclaimer. I am rating restaurants in San Miniato taking into consideration it's a small town... so a four here is not the same as a four in Florence.

We went for the day to the festival. This restaurant has a terrific view of the valley and is located very near much of the action for the truffle festival. Gnocchi with truffle, pasta with truffle, pork with truffle all good. Tiramisu OK but not to our taste. Poached pear with chocolate good. Service fine - typically Italian - no rush. Took the train from Florence to San Miniato train stop, then city bus to festival. All very convenient and inexpensive. Bus stops right outside train station.

Service was non-existent. Shocking hospitality. People eating in the restaurant were asked to leave because lunch was going to be served! The tables were not cleared after guests left. When trying to order a meal, we were told to wait and then ignored until our patience wore out and we left. Will not recommend or return.

Serate dâestate in cui cerchi un posto per un aperitivo o una cena veloce, ebbene lâestroâ è questo ma anche molto altro.Quello che doveva essere un aperitivo alla fine si è trasformata in una cena piacevole e sfiziosa a base di pizza e stuzzichini vari, molto gentile il gestore che ha soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta con velocità e simpatia.Il tutto con prezzo contenuto e buona qualità .
