We stopped here to take away our quick lunch last week on Wedensday, because we did not have enough time for a restaurant and were about to leave the city.We ordered fish and chips, were waiting outside ca 15 min., because it was nice and sunny weather. We were really surpriced how tasty and big was the portion of fish (and the chips too). We have had later (on Friday) once again fish and chips (this time it was in Dublin), but it was not so tasty as we could eat here at The Hungry Knight..So definitely worth the visit..

Dropped for dinner en route back to our accommodation for an early’ish dinner - just before 19:00. Moderately sized family style restaurant with lots of outdoor sidewalk tables. The owner did everything in the restuarant (excluding kitchen!) and was super friendly and efficient. My mate and I had the pork chops - 2 with excellent chips and veggies.Highly recommended!

Went there for a late lunch and the seafood chowder was very disappointing. More like a fish soup, hardly any cream and full of fishbones. This is not the traditional seafood chowder. Cavery dishes offered as well at decent prices so they are probably a better option.

We were in Parknasilla for our sons 7th birthday and decided to go back to O’Sheas for dinner as we had visited over the past couple of years. Other than the food being fantastic on this occasion we were absolutely blown away by the customer service. From the second we walked in the door we felt welcome and comfortable, especially with the chap behind the bar Rory that was serving us. He was so friendly and helpful and was fantastic with the kids. All I can say is he is an absolute credit to his parents because he is an absolute gentleman and had manners to burn and O’Sheas training must be top notch. We can’t wait to go back and are already planning another trip. See you soon guys
