Era ora ora che a Torre Specchia aprisse un localetto del genere. Il proprietario è gentilissimo (qualità rara di questi tempi e in questa zona della Puglia). Ci rechiamo in 4 per cena, avevamo prenotato il giorno prima chiedendo informazioni per eventuali piatti senza glutine perché il mio compagno è celiaco. Il proprietario è stato delizioso, ha provveduto subito a fare la spesa appositamente per noi! Il menù è abbastanza vasto e i piatti sono disponibili anche in versione tapas, un'ottima soluzione per chi vuole assaggiare più piatti senza appesantirsi. Strepitose le cozze al vapore e ottimi i frittini misti. Le cozze gratinate,invece, erano po' troppo agliose ma comunque molto buone. Io ho ordinato dei semplici spaghetti alle vongole arricchiti con pangrattato e pomodorini. Stupendi. Molto buoni anche gli spaghetti senza glutine con salsiccia, funghi e pomodorini. Ordiniamo anche degli spaghetti senza glutine con pesto di rosmarino e pomodori secchi ma erano decisamente troppo sapidi. Il pesto è forte e i pomodorini molto saporiti, quindi non andrebbe salata la pasta. Sono stati comunque molto apprezzati. Il servizio, ad opera di una ragazza, è svelto e preciso. Finalmente un posto in cui è possibile gustare degli ottimi piatti accompagnati dal sorriso e dalla cordialità dei gestori. Torneremo!

discovered by friends who were invited in by the owners. We went a few days later for Sunday lunch. The owners welcomed us warmly. Every dish was explained to us. The antipasto was delicious and plentiful. Everyone enjoyed whatever they had chosen.It was a really wonderful lunch and we have already decided to visit again when family and friends visit at Christmas.Grazie per averci scelto!!

We were lucky enough to visit this delightful restaurant for a full pasta making experience. We were taken through the making of many varieties of pasta and it was clear they are absolute experts in pasta and appropriate accompaniments. Our lunch was absolutely delicious and we were lucky enough to sample some of the fresh pasta we had created.If you are even remotely close to this wonderful restaurant we would highly recommend a visit if not for the pasta making experience, then definitely for lunch or dinner. A truly unique and personalized experience!

It's a local place, not built up just for tourists. Fairly small (so remember to walk in advance), not visible from outside however, it surely worth a try being one of the best all over the area. You can choose what you want but give the pizza a try because it is really superior.
