This is a large and very clean restaurant in a small town that was open on a Monday. You can sit outside or inside. For a 18th September it was very warm so we sat outside. We were the first to arrive at 19.30 (very British) but soon after most of the tables were full outside.The service was very nice, the owner is a retired coast guard, came to talk to us (read to my Italian wife) The atmosphere is of absolute calm and relaxation. Tables are far from each other.We ordered the roman antipasto. It was huge, 4 sorts of Italian ham, pork chops, cheese in honey, a small fried cod and a vegetable tempura. Delicious. I couldn't eat it all as I had ordered a mixed grill with chips and grilled vegetables for my wife... it was just too much. All nicely cooked and tasty. There was no room for dessert. I strongly recommend the detour.I do advise you check the address twice on the GPS. It has to say Malendugno. We were taken to the next town (Borgagne), same address!!! Not funny when you are hungry and are in the wrong place.

Un'ottima pizzeria con una vasta scelta di pizze, dalle più classiche a quelle con abbinamenti davvero azzeccati. Impasto ottimo e possibilità di avere anche quello senza glutine, che, attualmente, risulta un valore aggiunto. Presentazione delle pizze perfetta. Nonostante fossimo una tavolata di venti persone, il servizio è stato veloce e le pizze sono arrivate a cadenza ravvicinata, altro punto a favore, perché non è da tutti riuscire a coprire tante persone contemporaneamente.Prezzi giusti e nella media.Consigliatissimo.

The place was beautiful with a lovely garden from which you can see the greek ruins nearby. We had typical starter that had both fish and meat, but not impressive in terms of savour. We went for a pizza which was good and had a local beer from a "birrificio" in Lecce (a bit expensive though). Service was overall good and quick, but we were not offered the home made rosolio like all the other customers around us. Probably because they thought we were speaking english and we wouldn't notice they were offering to all the other tables.

This restaurant is located in a small town 15km far from Lecce and usually it's not visited by many tourists. We go there often because of its familiar atmosphere and delicious dishes.They also have pizza in their menu but it's different from the neapolitan type as it's made of a mixture of different durum wheat flours.We usually order traditional dishes except the fish because it could not be fresh, as it's stated in the menu. When the place it's crowded the service is sometime slow.Mozzarella cheese for pizza comes straight from the area so it's worth a try according to me.

Nice looking place, with cozy atmosphere.Good starter (mix fried stuff), see picture.decent pizza. Nothing special. Pizza became quite hard after a bit.Bad panna cotta with very sweet syrup...Went there with Groupon, so no big deal but we would have been very disappointed if we had to pay the bill.

I went to this restaurant with my girfriend last Saturday....the place is nice inside, the service was good as well as the food...we ordered some apetisers and two pizzas, everything was delicious...the only upside was that we had to wait long time before having the pizzas...

I went to this restaurant for a Pizza and everything was fine. The place is awesome, the staff is friendly and the pizza is spectacular. If you happen to be in Salento, You should absolutely try this restaurant!

We visited for dinner two nights in a row. As a gluten free eater this restaurant was AMAZING! pretty much everything on the menu can be gluten free and everything I tried was absolutely delicious! On the second night as we paid the bill the chef/owner offered my dad and I are little shot of his home made limoncello- I was genuinely humbled. Thank you so much for your delicious gluten free food and friendliness!

It's a local place, not built up just for tourists. Fairly small (so remember to walk in advance), not visible from outside however, it surely worth a try being one of the best all over the area. You can choose what you want but give the pizza a try because it is really superior.
