We visited this restaurant for lunch on our last day in Castelfiorentino. The chef explained the menu in detail and upon seeing that we wanted to have fish and seafood, he offered to put together antipasti and primi, some of which were not even on the menu. The food was excellent and the portions were ample. There were 3 types of dessert on the menu and we ordered the pannacotta and chocolate millefoglie to share between the four of us, having previously gone through three courses. We were wowed as the chef served the chocolate fondante soon after, despite us not having ordered it. This was simply divine and what's more, it was not added to the bill!Definitely one of the best meals we had whilst on holiday in Tuscany.

Posto carino immerso nella campagna toscana, facile da trovare con ampio parcheggio. Le cameriere che ci hanno servito sono state molto precise e attente nel portare l'acqua quando finiva e nel riportare le posate tra una portata e l'altra quando si rendevano conto che qualcuno ne era sprovvisto, piccoli dettagli che fanno piacere. Peccato per i lunghi tempi di attesa, ma in una serata con gli amici dove si chiacchiera e ci si diverte ci si passa sopra. Abbiamo preso 6 menu degustazione di pesce. Antipasto misto, bis di primi, frittura o padellaccia, caffè, acqua (30â¬). Il vino è escluso, ma insomma alla fine con pochi euro in più il conto mi sembra adeguato. Tornando al menu, di pesce fresco non se ne parla, l'antipasto è composto da pesce spada affumicato, polpo con patate, alici marinate e uno sformatino. Tutto nella media a parte il polpo "spappolato". Per chiudere una padella di cozze, sughetto buono e saporito, ma molluschi secchi e duri, probabilmente riscaldati più volte o vecchi o semplicemente troppo cotti, fate voi! Primi: tagliolini al nero di seppia leggermente salati, linguine allo scoglio buone, ma con il solito problema "cozze". Secondi: frittura di gran lunga la cosa migliore, sfortunatamente per me ho optato per la padellaccia, un guazzetto di frutti di mare, qualche pezzo di polpo e dei crostoni di pane. Oltre ai soliti problemi di secchezza dei molluschi, anche il sughetto era totalmente insipido. Comunque penso di tornarci per assaggiare la pizza.

We are staying in the small village of Montespertoli and wanted to visit the local eateries. We are a group of nine and showed up without reservation. It was a bit overwhelming for the server, but she agreed to seat us, which we appreciated. They were only serving fish that night and we ordered a variety of dishes. Most were served âfamily styleâ. The calamari was very good; the spaghetti vongole was good but had only a few clams; the scampi was different then we were used to but it was okay.

Four for lunch of which 2 were vegetarian and 1 had a garlic allergy! Run by a husband and wife team who were quick to help us and soon presented us with food and local wine. Brilliant food and very nice wine. The bill was more than reasonable. The pizza menu was impressive and good prices, but only during the evening. Worth a visit.

My sister Sue has lived nearby at the family farm Fattoria Corzano e Paterno for the past 37 years. She and her family always tellus to go here for super thin, wood fired, individual pizzas. We went there twice last week and asked for Sarah as our waitress. We cant speak Italian and she doesn't speak English but we made it work for our party of 7. Pizzas were 5-6 euros and table wine was fine. Next time we want to order the oval shaped special pizzas. If you sit outside, be prepared for smokers so best to sit inside by the doors as they are always open. Cant wait to come back! Make reservations but the place is empty until 7.30pm

I ordered the fish and he ordered a pizza. Both were amazing!!!! The fish was fresh and bones removed. The pizza was good as recommended. The staff were so amazing... maybe some of the best since our week in Italy!! They had English menus and the staff (you could tell) loved to practice their English! But itâs still such an authentic Italian place. It was a nice restaurant but still great prices. I would come here again with no doubt!!! I wish we were staying longer in the area so we could return. If you have trouble with gps leading you here... explore the area and find it! Ours didnât lead us here but we found it with fairly no problem. Itâs a fantastic place!!! Youâll love it.

This place is located off the beaten path, in a valley at a high end equestrian stables. There is ample parking in the front and rear, as well as access to the restaurant from both locations. Walking in there are plenty of friendly horses with their heads sticking out of their stables for both the adults and children to enjoy. There is an enormous amount of outdoor and indoor seating with lots of staff (good service), but you should call ahead for a reservation. They are very child friendly here. The restaurant is very modern. They have a nice wine list, and they even have a large selection of beers on tap. We have been there a number of times, both for pizza and for fish. The pizzas are outstanding. Their dough is made of a freshly milled organic local flour and their ingredients are the freshest possible. We have tried quite a variety of their pizzas and all were excellent. On one trip, the crust was quite salty, but every other trip was excellent. Do not discount their fish menu, their fish is also excellent!!! They make amazing desserts, save room!

We ended up eating at Artevino twice during our one week stay in Tuscany. This very small and quiet restaurant offers a varied menu and decent wine list, featuring many of the local wines. This is where you go for a long and leisurely dining experience as there seemed only to be one server but she was attentive and friendly. Each dish served was beautifully plated which made this a feast for the eyes. Definitely a delicious treat!

Tonight we had a very good diner at this restaurant. We were here with friends and had a realy good time. The restaurant is a family business. The owners have passion for food, wine and hospitality. When you are nearby, you should definitly go there. Up until now it's the best food we had in Tuscany.

My friends and I visited Lo Zero for a dinner in our first night in Tuscany. It was an unexpected fine dining experience. The chef makes everything by hand: the bread, the pasta. Everything was fresh, local, and delicious. Really a great experience. We went with a baby, so we had to head out at 11pm (after 3 hours) so we missed out on their dessert and grappa, but I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a reasonably priced dining experience with fresh local food. The staff was welcoming and sweet; I will definitely make a point to come back here next time Iâm in Tuscany.
