I went here expecting something Italian like ravioli etc. I didn't read the reviews but I stayed for the barbecue anyway. Everything was amazing and all the steaks and roasts melted in my mouth. However I thought the sausage and pork had a funny taste. Maybe underdone? The salmon was good at the buffet too. Oh also the martinis must be Brazilian style. They were cheap but yellow for some reason and tasted like something else. Good but not a martini.

We were a group of 10, some were classic Brazilian carnivores and others not. Along with the traditional rodizio style of meats (all of good quality) there was a rodizio for pasta & pasta as well. Good salad bar as well with a good selection of hot and cold foods.

I can't explain their Batata but it is so good. I live the ones filled with shrimp or bacon. They have lots of options and everything I have tried here is good. Service is not fast and the price is a little hight but it is worth the price and wait. Remember to save a little cash to give to the guy outside that watches your car.

This place has real mexican food which was way better than what I expected. the prices are reasonable and the service is fast and good. They even have their own brand of hot sauce and it is not too bad. I go here everytime I am in Ponta Grossa.

This one of best pubs ("bar") in Ponta Grossa.
They have good ambient (very rustic, but this is the funniest part of that), music and food. The beers are always cold and the service is very dedicated (something very unusual for this city, by the way!).
Going to this place, don't even try to expect for something fancy!... This a tipycal friendly pub, where you can meet all kinds of people and "tribes".

In Brazil small bars that offers drink and some apetizers are called "Boteco". Besides the beer and the local music, the food itself is a great attraction - no one could offer small portions as Brazilian Botecos, not even the famous Spanish tapas. Try fried chicken in a very small pieces (a passarinho), fried cassava with bacon, and codfish nuggets, among others.

The price is high but the food is well worth it. I have eaten here several times and I always get something different but it is always great. They sometimes have live entertainment and it costs a little more to sit on the lounge side but it is good.

If you want to try "churrasco" in a local way, that's the place. It's a traditional restaurant in town, which serves meat in a particular way (which locals say it's the typical plate of the city). You ask for your meat and you have plenty of side dishes. The ambience is simple and very familiar.
