The restaurant is one of the best I have tried in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with a spacious and very clean space. The service was professional, with waiters speaking good English. It was interesting that the menu was in Albanian (and English), but our waiter could speak only English and Macedonian.As starters, we had two kinds of fried mushrooms (champignons and porcini), both of which were excellent. The ajvar was nice and spicy - a real treat. But the best starter was a plate of fried courgettes. The taste reminded me of very well-prepared tempura - the vegetables were dipped in a very light batter before being fried. The main dish was a fairly typical Balkan roast, with a sauce that was pleasant, but did taste a bit of the ubiquitous Vegeta. The meat, however, was tender and very flavorful.All staff were very pleasant and professional. The price for the meal was not inexpensive but very reasonable for the quality offered. I have eaten in various restaurants in Tetovo and prior to visiting Bakal, I could not recommend any of them. The trip out to Brvenica is definitely worthwhile for a visit to this gem.

In Sundays the restaurant is closed, the choice of the food is limited to meat dishes however the portions are quite large. I suggest you balance it with a salad and a meat plate and share it with among two. The waiters are very polite and friendly.

Been with my whole family and enjoyed every bite of the food and service was great from the waiter. Highly recommend it and you will not be disappointed but you will surely be happy.

The restaurant offers various food with an excellent and polite service in a cosy atmosphere (fireplace, solid music etc).Cheese plate and meat starters were delicious also the salad was amazing, fish and desserts were good.Restrooms are clean, separate place is allocated for children.Free WiFi.

In few occasions i got to visit the restaurant at the city center. Always the food and the service is excellent. In all my visits i was with toddlers and the staff was so friendly and helpful to fulfill all the wishes. Soups are delicious, salads are fresh, and the pasta was just perfect. I would highly recommend it for all occasions.
