Reviewed By aldosd2016We stayed here for one night to stay away from the crowd in Ohrid. The view is gorgeous, and the apartment is clean and spacious. However, there are only 3 parking spots for a complex with ~5 apartments, so there may not be a guaranteed parking spot. Also the address on Google map takes you to the ground floor door of the apartment on a very narrow unpaved road, while the main entrance is actually on the top floor facing the main road.

Lovely people in a beautiful part of the world
Reviewed By John BWe arrived tired after a bus and taxi trip from Skopje. Rose was very welcoming, She made coffee and sat with us on the patio, chatting and making us feel right at home. Boris arrived and took our bags to our room. He is a full of life character, offering both advice and good company. Over our 2 day stay we couldn't have been better looked after. Peshtani is a quiet lovely village away from crowds and noise...great place and great people

Some of the flats has 3 tv's with a lot channels to watch. Spotless clean apartments in great locations leave you the wish to come back again and again... Strongly Recommended

Amazing stay near Lake Ohrid
Reviewed By KkafozoffWe really enjoyed our time at Mr Bogdanovski’s guest house which located right in the main town area, walking distance of less than five minutes to Lake Ohrid. The Bogdanovski family was very helpful with information and insights about what in town to do and how to do it best. Overall, the room was clean and orderly and everyone was helpful with any problems we may have encountered. I would highly recommend staying here while in Ohrid!

Reviewed By Kurt WPerfect and quit new looking apartment. Close to restaurants and only a few minutes from the center. Its a peaceful location without noise. A very warm welcome from the host and there was water, fruit and Raki in the cooler. Perfect welcome.

Ono sto mogu da kazem je, da je izuzetno cisto i mirisno i da smo se u apartmanima Kolevski naspavali kao da smo kod kuce. Kreveti su ogromni, udobni, posteljina mirisna. Domacin, dr stomatolog, izuzetno kulturan, ljubazan i predusretljiv decko. Ukoliko dolazite u Ohrid, ovo je svakako mjesto za svaku preporuku.

a lakeside retreat well worth visiting

If you are planning to visit Ohrid you probably would like to have a comfortable place to stay, not far from the lake (which is the thing you want to see, along with the old part of town), you have come to the right place. Apartments Smakoski is not more than 150 feet from the lake and the very pleasant promenade that follows the shore for a long way. It's not on the small street that parallels it however, so it's super-quiet. Ana and Metodij are great hosts, speak excellent English (Ana was an exchange student in Missouri), and keep everything very clean. If you can get one of the top floor apartments, you will have a view of the lake too. You have a kitchen, a bathroom, comfortable bed, a sofa, and even a nice balcony. The town and a supermarket are about ten minutes walk away, but some good restaurants are only three minutes away (walking also). It's a three star place, but the hospitality and willingness to help are five star for sure. We really enjoyed our stay. Bob Newman, Marblehead, Mass. USA

Reviewed By cantab17Very nice apartment in the old town. A few minutes walk from the beach and great places to eat. The building only has three apartments. The couple who owns them are very friendly. Only negatives are that you must pay in cash and the internet is a bit slow.

Perfect location, affordable prices. Placed on the shopping street of Ohrid, 400m from Ohrid Lake, Apartments LAVO offers great accommodation with free parking. The nearest city beach is 15 minutes walk, public parking is 50m from the property, a FREE underground parking garage is 300m away and a bus stop is 150m away. The central bus station is situated a 5-minute drive and Ohrid International Airport is reachable within 10 minutes by car. We have 1 apartment and 3 studios on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs. All of them are fully equipped with everything you will need. They come with well-equipped kitchenettes, air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, LCD TVs with cable channels, private bathrooms, balconies, etc. They also have an electric kettle, iron, vacuum cleaner, hairdryer, towels, a refrigerator, and other amenities. The parking space is about 300m away from the property in a safe underground garage and it has limited space. The address is St. Clement of Ohrid (near the big clothing store LC Waikiki ). You can find it on Google Maps by typing 'Apartments LAVO'. If you are coming in a car, you need to text or call us when you are near the LC Waikiki store on the street. Usually, we'll meet near LC Waikiki. It would be great if you can text or call us a couple of minutes before arrival. Ohrid is a small city, because of that everything is very close and you do not need a car. That is only needed if you are going out of the city. These apartments are placed in one of the best locations in the city, the shopping street(Ohrid's bazaar). Lake Ohrid is about 300m away, Old Town is 30m away, also city beaches are fairly close. The shopping street of Ohird is near the property. Restaurants, coffee bars, ATMs, banks, post offices, supermarkets, fast food, and many more just a few steps away. All of this and more in just a 1-2km radius. If you want to go a little bit further let's say 3km, you will find the most popular locations for nightlife and beach in Ohrid: Cuba Libre Beach & Bar, Kadmo Beach & Club, Park Golden Beach, Discotheque Park, etc. The most popular beach in our town knows as Gradishte is about 20km away. Two of the most popular places to visit in Ohrid, St. Naum Monastery and National Park Galicica are about 30km away. You are always welcome at our properties. We hope to see you!
Perfect location, clean and newly furnished room
Reviewed By charles911The property is situated a few metres from the central square of the Old Town with lots of cafes, restaurants and shop in the vicinity. You get to the lake in 10 minutes walking along the old bazaar, The owner is a pleasant young guy speaking English fairly well, he was waiting for us at the time we indicated in our booking. We ordered a double room and were surprised to see that it had new furniture and other equipment seemed to be new as well, there was a fully equipped kitchenette, a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs facing a quiet lane with quite a nice view of the surrounding area. We found everything we needed - a hairdryer, toiletries, even slippers! The place was extremely clean, and as it was rather cold outside, it was provided with an electric heater. Briefly - one of the best accommodation of this type I have ever had and I strongly recommend it.
