Tetovo (Macedonian: Тетово, [ˈtɛtɔvɔ] ( listen); Albanian: Tetovë/Tetova; Turkish: Kalkandelen) is a city in the northwestern part of the Republic of Macedonia, built on the foothills of Šar Mountain and divided by the Pena River. The municipality of Tetovo covers an area of 1,080 km (417 sq mi) at 468 meters (1,535 ft) above sea level, with a population of 52,915. The city of Tetovo is the seat of Tetovo Municipality.

Unique mosque with a beautiful and impressive interior + garden. Only downside was the continuous flow of Turkish touring cars that let out their tourists for a 10-minute session of picture taking. Not much rest and tranquility...

Another beautiful monastery in this region. Very old and very impressive. Only pity is the continuous flow of touring cars with tourists that don't take their time to experience this.

It is the only mall center in our town where you can spend a perfect time shopping or just going out for a drink or food where u can find so many snacks shops and pubs
You have a huge free parking place adn if you go with a child there is a large corner for childs to play until you shopping or having a dinner

It is a must see if you are visiting Tetovo.I have visited this church many times.You can easily spend few hours in this place enjoying in fresh air,tranquil environment and magnificent natural beauties. The Church of Holy Mother of God was build in 1326 and is a beautiful example of splendid Byzantine architectural style. Furthermore, the church has several beautiful frescoes which possess historical value and which originate from different periods. The most popular fresco is called "Judgment Day".
Its excellent location and the pleasant climate make the Leshok Monastery one of the most visited moonasteres in Macedonia.

Tetova ( Kalkandelen) de Alaca Caminin sağında akan Pena Nehrinin yanında bulunan hamamda , zamanında ilk defa maden suyu ve kaplıca suyu kullanılmış.Günümüzde Sanat Galerisi olarak kullanılıyor,Giriş ücretsiz.TİKA tarafından restore edilmiş.Gittiğimiz yılın son günü olduğundan kapalıydı,dışardan fotoğraflarını çektik.
