This hotel applies very strict health protocols, so guests feel safe while staying First impressions was the very special mountain view of Mt. Arjuno, Mt. Welirang and Mt. Penanggungan, but the building needs a little renovation. My first room having trouble on air conditioner but the hotel’s staff were very helpfull move to another room. Breakfast was quite good with some variety of food prepared.

Clean & comfortable
Reviewed By jorio398Transit hotel is nice and clean, comfy bed, hot shower. The room was a decent size with 2 king single beds. The wifi isn't very strong but it was ok. Breakfast was basic, local food and toast. The staff were polite and friendly. Room service was ok with a decent menu.

It's very best and clean family room but i couldn't have a good wifi there. It took about 3 minutes, then you can visit center of night food there. A lot of food you can get there, satay, corn berbeque, meatball soup, and other traditional food of Indonesia. In the morning, visitor in this hotel Will have a great breakfast by all you can eat food and maybe if u have guest and you Will ask them for having breakfast, you just need pay IDR 100.000. Also they have 2 pools and we can swim there as you wish. It's exciting. Well.. last but not least. It was a great experience to stay here. I love it.

Grand Hotel that has seen better days, long ago
Reviewed By lokh498I booked a room via another site. OYO, the company that runs the hotel chain now, uses local franchisees which may be part of the problem. There was huge confusion when I arrived as the office tried to contact me by whatsapp or phone, both of which were unsuable due to my trip up to Prigen from Surabaya, with intermitted phone and data coverage only. When I arrived, no one seemed to know what was happening. Then they put me in a room with a sputtering tap that squirted trapped air all night. The room was old, with moth eaten curtains, a CRT TV (I kid you not - a model from the 90's) cracked tiles, creaking wardrobe. There was no shower curtain and a leaky shower head which could not stay in position. Food was almost non-existent. Dinner took the kitchen guys an hour to prepare, presumably because they were not expecting ANY guests and probably had to truck in the chef from somewhere not in the vicinity. Although when it did arrive it tasted quite ok, but probably because by then I was ready to eat the table. Fortunately, the next day they moved me to slightly (very slightly) better surroundings. In the daytime I could see that the pool was large and the area seemed to be designed to mimic a Roman or Spanish type of resort with (resin) statues of various well-proportioned figures in heroic and feminine poses. The staff tried their best but seemed to be lost most of the time. I suspect management instructions to be very brief and there was hardly any evidence of significant upkeep. There is a semi-permanent stall selling trinkets, night market Asianic gewgaws along the main corridor which is a bit jarring - I looked through a collection of knives, laser pointers, shellfish decorations, nailclippers and ear cleaners but the most interesting item, sadly, was a bored (sad?) looking iguana kept in a wire cage next to the stalls. Overall the stay was serviceable. Breakfast buffet seemed to be available only when the hotel had a significant amount of guests. There was a random aerobic class with blaring rock music at an early hour. The whole experience was somewhat bizarre. I can only call it an interesting one, much less so a good stay. However the beds were decent. A budget stay, but I would say leave your expectations at the airport.

Reviewed By achmadfauzi45Dari tampilan luar homestaynya biasa saja, setelah masuk ke homestay suasananya seperti dirumah sendiri dengan sambutan yang ramah dari pemilik homestay, suasana depan kamar dengan perkebunan pertanian dan banyak bunga bunga yang menambah segar untuk pemandangannya, sangat tenang dan nyaman homestay ini. Dan untuk pesan makanan seperti masakan rumah yang sering kita makan, rasanya enak sekali dan porsinya banyak untuk makanannya, harganyapun murah dan terjangkau. Jaraknya kurang lebih 11 km untuk ke wisata Gunung Bromo menggunakan jeep. Untuk kamarnya bersih dan nyaman tapi sayang untuk air panasnya tidak panas untuk keesokan harinya pada saat mau cekout tidak berfungsi mungkin karena homestay ramai pada saat itu sehingga air panasnnya dipakai tamu yang lain, saran saja kalau bisa water heaternya per kamar sendiri sendiri saja. Tetapi kesan menginap di homestay ini sangat menyenangkan, dan bisa direkomendasikan ke teman teman saya.

Sorry State of WiFi, Avoid if on Business
Reviewed By Modest321Very very poor Wifi coverage, poor Wifi strength, poor Wifi bandwidth. IT Staffs not willingly to investigate and improve. Front Office staff playing the I 'understand card. Every time your device goes into power saving you need to log back in. Annoying especially having breakfast, meals or chatting with others. Wifi breaks down very often. The few English TV channels are of poor reception. Also disappears off air every other day. Avoid as much as possible.

Reviewed By dewik2112Basically, we love this place sooo much. The green of golf field, the green around the cottage, the hospitality of hotel staff, and the cottage itself. The big room, the big terrace, the big jacuzzi, the inside and outside shower place when kiddos very excited about ?? But because of no guest beside us, this cottage feels soooo spooky ??? the reception lady said the cottage left and right our cottage is full, but thats not, actually ??? but the day after, we see another guest, a man, 2 next in left side of our cottage.

Nice Old Glorious Hotel Being Renew
Reviewed By 4nn4This is old glorious hotel in Prigen (Tretes). They have upgrade their (deluxe) room and renovate the room, now to have modern taste. We book Deluxe room and Signature room. Deluxe room is very spacious. Having 2 single (twin) bed and balcony. The balcony, may reserve for smoking person, that's why receptionist handed the balcony key and inform for open access to outside room. However upon checking, room is cleaan and free of smoke fouls. For Signature room is having 1 King bed size (and no balcony)and bathroom still equipped with bathtub. Maybe the Signature room is the hotel's best room at oldies time, but maybe not for today time, which is many guest will prefer simple and bright room. Pls check to staff hotel about the room type before guest order. Until 4th floor can be easily access by lift, however for Signature room in 5th and 6th floor, will need access card. Hotel is very generous allow us to early check in and enjoy the hotel facilities while waiting for other rooms to be prepared. Hotel still applied deposit cash withdrawal when check in, hence please make sure all guest billing is settle when check out. For breakfast area it is located on 3rd floor and having good mountain scenery view. It's open area so whenever get sitting near the outside, there is chance will be closely with other smoking guests. Well, as the Hotel bear the name of one of big cigars producer in Java, seem still no restristion smoking on hotel's area. But perhaps next time hotel can add some kind of smoking room/barrier in public area like this breakfast/dining area. Breakfast is very delicious and came with many option. Big swimming pool with fresh water is available, what is the good that the pool officer is keep ready and watching the guest, especially kids activity in the pool. Keep the safety first. In from of the hotel is many street food available, like bakso/meatball soup and other hot food/drink, very nice to enjoy the cold mountain weather.
