We stopped by to check out what had been a grand dining destination of our parents during our youth. There was a meeting going on in the front veranda which we sat away from near the bar. Unfortunately, the service was lack lusture and beer barely cool. Felt that we were in the way. Shame because the grounds are beautiful...Hi Ma'am, we sincerely apologize for this below average experience that you had. We would really like to make it up to you so please let us know the next time you're in town. I am guessing that you were part of a very large group that turned up out of the blue on a week day recently. We have only just very recently opened up the restaurant for week day lunches, and we have minimal staff on during week days unless we have big groups which have made bookings in advance (because we're a little out of town we don't get much foot traffic). So, we're sorry if you weren't properly attended to like we should have. We are still going through the process of upgrades, staff training & recruitment plus various business start-up phases, so we hope you can understand that we are on the path of improvement and we do value your feedback.

The decor and setting were certainly outstanding. But unfortunately that was about it. The chairs were more like sofas so absolutely not suitable for comfortable dining. We started with prosecco, which was good, and the amuse of stew came as a good surprise. For starter, we ordered crispy pork belly and lobster bisque. Both didn’t come out warm. The pork belly was under-seasoned, accompanied by some undercooked carrot and foam that was not particularly nice. The bisque tasted strongly of lobster but lacked complexity. Some acidity would have made it better. The palate cleanser of lime sorbet was a surprise but way too sweet. For main course, we had the aged striploin and the reef lobster. The steak itself was very good thanks to the aging process rather than what the chef did to it. The grilled lobster was totally overcooked and tough, and I felt sorry for the fresh ingredient. The Shiraz and Chardonnay that accompanied the dishes had nothing worth mentioning. The service was generally good until when we refused desserts and asked for a second glass of water, and the waitress immediately asked if we liked to have our bill. Overall, we both felt that the chef knew a few culinary tricks but lacked balance in taste. For the price, it was not worth it. Green Haus Restaurant downstairs was way better while having lower prices.

Nice location and view overlooking the light reflection on the harbour with hillside view.We ordered pizza and it came out very dry and over cooked. Didn't enjoy. Staff are friendly though. The price for food is quiet expensive compared to the next door restaurant Asian Aroma which was affordable and cook delicious food

This is by far my most favoured restaurant for crabs and lobster. I would recommend Malay style chili and salt and pepper. Call them prior to going to make sure thay have crabs available. 3233918 or 71980505

Nice place to sit outside and watch the lights of Port Moresby harbour. Food is very good too. We had lobster pasta, a penne dish and great pizza. Service was efficient and pleasant. Definitely recommend it.

Half the reason we travel to Nusa is to eat the food which is second-to-none. They do an amazing mudcrab and whole fish that's caught that day. So good. HI Maeve,Thanks for your kind review. We often get told that one of the main reasons people choose to stay with us is because of our restaurant, and I'm pleased to hear this is continuously the case. The mud crab is always a guest favourite, and we're very lucky to have fresh fish supplied to us regularly. Hopefully it's not too long in between meals that you can make it back!
