NOT A BOUTIQUE HOTEL AS FAR AS SERVICES ARE CONCERNED....
Reviewed By chanaka ARooms are good and no complaints..But the service was poor and staff was not attentive. I had a problem with my safety locker in the room, though the issue was addressed to the front office, nobody attended to it till I checked out in the afternoon. Very selected dining options on available on the menu card......

Reviewed By E9035ROmarcvGreat location. Near airport. Seaside resort. Quiet. Clean. No insects. Dananya and wife are exellent hosts and good cooks of all meals. Nice sunny garden. Beach polluted and sea not accessible in this time of year. Great sunsets however.

Reviewed By dushanp2014I’ve been here twice and I find it perfect in all aspects. It definitely worth the price they charge. Good hospitality and Good food as well. Owner was very cooperative in planning out everything. Would Recommend it to anyone!

A unique resort where the emphasis are not the usual appearance and the swimming pool, but the activities within the resort. Saltwater swimming pool with four sections, one exclusively for women only. Basketball and volleyball courts, fishing in the resort pond for fun or to make your own BBQ. Herbal and vegetable garden to cook organic food.
Disappointed and Unsatisfactory
Reviewed By KalpasuranjithI have visited with some friends on 17th there. Bad; The place is severely understaffed especially at the restaurant. But actually the place we were eating adjacent to the pool, is not up-to the standards. The seating/ chairs are not good. Food selection is very minimal. Some of the listed food in the menu also not available. Sometimes the ordered food got missed. I felt that the food is not worth the money. No buffet was there. Hot water system was broken. Some of the lights weren’t working. No liquor at the place. If you want to have, you have to bring from outside. Good; The room was average sized. Bed was not that much comfortable,but its acceptable. Room was worth the money. Pool is good. Big sized pool. Pool cleaning was good. But no swimming instructor was there in case of emergency. The place surrounding is spacious. Overall its a 2 star experience for me. (I have attached the billing proof in case need that I have visited)

Nico Lagoon Hotel offers you the best service with many facilities: Accommodation, Restaurant, Bar, Free Wi-Fi, Free parking, Barbecue events, Entertainment events, Boat trips(lagoon or sea), Shuttle service and etc. In our hotel each rooms are designed with various interior designs, calm and quite balcony and private bathroom which well equipped. It overlooks Negombo Lagoon and is surrounded by greenery.
A very good example for a very bad hospitality
Reviewed By wkcusI visited the premises in February 2020. Food was below average. Portion is too Small. Breakfast was terrible which was included in our package. The funny this was they wanted us to come to the restaurant to have the bed tea and they reluctant to serve it for our rooms. Towels were not clean and I have used my own. We have booked this hotel since we have seen some good comments from the foreigners. But they treat locals in a different way with too many rigid rules. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone sine they don't even pay a little respect on their guests.
