Nice room
Reviewed By WeivooNice and cozy room for 1 person with futon. But a bit small with ac and tv for 2k yen a night and close to shin imaimiya station. It also had toilet at every floor. But for bath you need to go to 1st floor. It also give free coffee tea and you can cook at there

Great Ryokan!
Reviewed By Kriszta VStaying in this ryokan was an amazing experiece, I highly recommend it! The rooms are spacious and the garden is absolutely stunning. There are only a few rooms so if you are lucky you can enjoy your stay in complete serenity.

A memorable family-friendly stay at family operated Ryokan
Reviewed By shavaz0We were a couple in our mid forties and our two daughters (a teen and a pre-teen). This guest house was our first Ryokan in Japan and we enjoyed our stay and the warm hospitality of the owners who were nice to converse with despite their limited English. We reserved several months in advance (through fax which was a bit of a burden and cause for worry should the reservation be misplaced but all was well). The bill was settled in cash upon check-in and the host showed us around. The property is very clean, tidy and quiet. Sleeping on Japanese futons in a Tatami room takes getting used to (2nd night it better), but the experience and dressing up in Yukatas will be a very memorable one. The location of this guest house is fantastic, literally steps from Tennoji station which helped us save time getting from the airport and leaving to our daily excursions. There are a number of convenience stores within a stones throw and even a drugstore right next to Tennoji should you need one. On one of the evenings we arrived to town late and not fancying any of the other restaurants on the Main Street we chose to enter the Yakitori joint at the end of the alley as we saw it was quite busy the evening before. The food (and beer) was great and the atmosphere was electric. Another Japanese experience! Warmly recommended! All in all a very positive and memorable stay in a family owned guest house.

離れの特別感
Reviewed By tyityia能勢温泉旅館に隣接する3室のみの離れです。3室といっても1室づつが独立した建物で、広い和室に洋室の寝室が別にあり、室内の洗い場と屋根付き露天風呂があり、プライベート感が強いお部屋でした。また、離れは新しいのか、どこも清潔感に溢れていて快適でした。 露天風呂からの景色は緑一色で夏の雨も逆に楽しませてくれるものでした。 アメニティも化粧水、乳液等が用意されていて、部屋のお風呂だけで完結できるようになっていました。特筆すべきはバスローブ、作務衣、浴衣、女性用色浴衣と、シーンに合わせた衣料が揃っていたことです。 足りなかったのは本館お風呂に行く際のタオル入れの袋と部屋付き露天風呂にしてはミネラルウォーターの用意が、少なかったぐらいかと思います。（お部屋で夕食もいただかないので、冷蔵庫内の有料ウーロン茶は、少量の瓶でなくペットボトルの方が、有難いかと。） 夕朝食は本館レストラン横の個室が用意されているので、食事時も落ち着いた時間を過ごせました。 この旅館を選んだ理由は特別会席プランがある事で、このプランでは、あらかじめ食材をリクエストできます。私のリクエストの毛ガニは残念ながら入手できなかったようですが、代替えとして夏の会席にもかかわらず、カニすきを用意して下さいました。鱧一択になりがちな夏には有難いプランでした。 それ以外にも、A5ランクの宮崎牛石板焼や一度食べてみたかった近大マグロも組み入れられていて、自分仕様の構成となっていました。 朝食は本館と同じバイキングでしたが、個室でいただくスタイルでしたので、緑を眺めながらゆっくり過ごす事が出来ました。 帰り道の送迎バスは、乗り込んだ後、駐車場に進んでターンをするのですが、お見送りの係の方が、ターンして2度目前を通る時まで、しっかりと見送って下さったのが印象的でした。

とても親切な女将さん
Reviewed By とうぶ宿に着く直前に、友人が転び、結果として3針顔を縫う怪我！夜9時を回っており、病院が見つかるまで電話で探してくれました。土地勘もなく、4軒以上断られましたが見つけてくれました。そんなこんなで食事もまだまだだったので、お店も紹介してもらい、本来の門限や、風呂の時間も大幅に遅らせてもらいました。凄く良くして貰ったので、精算の際クーポンのマイナスを忘れた金額を支払い、直後に気が付きましたが、「対応を考えるとお釣りがくる」と放って置いたところ、2日後に家に電話での謝罪と、現金書留で送った旨連絡あり！とても親切で誠実な対応に感謝です。宿は昔風な旅館ですか、私の泊まった部屋は洋室ベッドで凄く広い部屋で、掃除も行き届いていました。ちなみに、食事の出来る場所は、宿のすぐ前に数軒有りますが、スマホの地図では、載っていない場合があります。また、泊まりたい宿です！

Nice ryokan with convenient subway access
Reviewed By monarch_50We arrived at 10:30 am or so at the tube station, got directions from a storekeeper and headed there. An old lady saw us with suitcases and asked whether we were going to the ryokan. Of course her intuition was correct and she turned out to be the owner of that ryokan! Our room on 1/F faces the street but it was not noisy at all. Actually, we had a good view of hte Shrine festival parade that took place on 22 and 23 July. So our bird's eye view was very rewarding. We got hot water every night for our tea and the air-conditioning was adequate. Had our own shower/bath and toilet. Very self-contained. The ryokan was deceptively small as it has nine rooms. I asked for directions to the airport to make use of my Nankai rail coupon that came with my Kansai Area Pass Wide. The grandson (Canadian/Japanese) gave me great directions, which was much better than for me to go to Umeda or Nanba with their huge stations and long walking distance. All in all, highly recommendable -- but you need to be able to haul your luggage up the 1/F steps, which was not that bad but demanding a bit. Oh, no breakfast included with the room. No Wifi either. Tips to reach the hotel: Leave the Miyakojima station via the lift from platform to turnstile level, and another lift up one level to the road level. Leave this second lift, turn right and make a U-turn, walk straight ahead. After 5 minutes or so, you see a side road forking to the right. Walk along it, past a shrine (as in my photo below) and another minute or two you would be standing at the front entrance of the ryokan.

大阪ゴルフ倶楽部メンバーの隠れ家割烹
Reviewed By kissan1212ホームコースへの送迎がある南海『みさき公園』の裏手海岸沿いにある民宿。私どもは泊ったことはありませんが、月に一回のゴルフ場のプライベート会の後は決まってここで打ち上げ。８０歳近くのお医者さん夫妻夫妻をはじめ、プレイ終わってお風呂に入って三々五々集まります。季節の魚、刺身はもちろん煮つけ、焼き魚と。先般は『あこう』の煮つけを堪能。大阪キタの新地だと一万円近くのものもここではなんと三千円。嬉しいやら美味しいやら。京阪神の名だたるフレンチのお店のヒラメも、ここで薄造りに。流石にムニエルは少々酷かも知れませんが、なんせ全て水槽からなんで、新鮮この上ありません。機会あればぜひ。但し、お店の佇まいは、超田舎の食堂で、おじさんとおばさんがやってます。PS 夏は、淡輪で開催される女子のビーチバレー全国レベルの若いルーキーの宿になっています。店の前でシャワーを浴びる彼女たちを見るだけでも『頑張れ！頑張れ！』の気持ちです。

ぼたん鍋
Reviewed By paseri2013宿泊ではなく、会食で利用しました。冬季はぼたん鍋の懐石が手ごろな価格で頂けることもあり、毎年家族で利用しています。猪肉以外も、丁稚羊羹や鹿刺しなど、地元の名品が出てくるため、お値段以上の価値があると思います。建物は年季が入っており、暖房はありますが隙間風もあるので、少し暖かめの服装で向かうことをお勧めします。

My stay at Osaka Java Minshuku
Reviewed By NORAINI MThe room is more like an apartment but without the kitchen facilities. There is a small kitchen but the stove was taken out. Electric kettle and fridge are still provided. The room is more like a studio apartment; fits two people nicely. However, you sleep on the futons provided. Fold them during the day and lay them out at night. Traditional Japanese sleeping arrangement. We like that as it gives more space to move around during the day. The train station is a short distance away but you need to pay attention to the bicycle riders when you walk on the sidewalk.
