We watched the Olympics on multiple big screens and enjoyed excellent fish and chips. Service was fast and friendly. Pub grub, great selection at reasonable prices, no lines. We parked across the street at the medical center that was closed, some on street parking we might have missed.

The Blunt Bartender Pub & Eatery

The service staff in this Pub are friendly, happy, and fast. We appreciate the excellent smiling staff, excellent friendly service!!!!! The Beef Philly Steak on a sesame bun had a tasty "original" sauce. The beef was very tender. Small pieces of green pepper and onion. Tasty!! Still, over priced considering the amount of food. The grilled potatoes/hash browns on the side were gross, they did not go well with the steak sandwich, bad paring, it needed fries. The poutine came in a cereal type bowl, hash browns/(grilled potatoes???) drowned in what I would call an odd orange cheese sauce. I could taste spice but no real cheese flavour. The grilled potatoes/hash browns(?) did not taste fresh. They did taste like leftovers tossed back on the grill. The chicken was difficult to find. Was there even 1 oz of Chicken??? $12.99. The amount and quality of the food in that bowl should not have cost more than $6. at most considering the quality and quantity. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED Poutine!!!My Opinion: A Pub with NO FRIES is not a Pub. This spot is in desperate need of a deep fryer. We never ever mind "paying the price" if the food is delicious. This food was simply not worth the price.Hi Feedmenowyoufool,I am so sorry to hear about your negative first impression. I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave your opinions, as we are constantly trying to grow as a company. Unfortunately the building we are in does not allow permitting for deep fryers, and we are really sorry that our skillet potatoes weren't to your liking. I would love the chance to change your mind about us, please email me at [email protected] and we can discuss further.

This is a great place to enjoy a local craft beer in a friendly atmosphere. The pulled pork BBQ pizza was excellent and went great with a blueberry wheat beer. It is worth the stop when travelling near Truro.

Very tasty food and lots of choices on the menu. Wing night is Thursdays and very busy and the staff are prepared for it and you don’t wait long at all. The evening we stoped there was also live music to our surprise and the man was extremely talented. Very comfortable and cozy setting and we drop in often. Locals do not sit at the bar like in some places so it’s a very inviting place when you walk in. We look forward to our meals in Truro when we are driving through.

A bit pricier than some restaurants in Truro but the food was very good. The steak sandwich was well prepared and very tasty. The burgers were huge and the desserts quite decadent. Good choice for a relaxing dinner. Thanks for coming in! We may be a bit pricier BUT we make most everything fresh to order and don't skimp on portions! We use certified Angus Beef for both the steak sandwich as well as our actual burgers:)Hope you can come back soon!

Ate here on a Wednesday evening. Server was attentive and took our drink orders while detailing the specials. When she returned with our drinks she took our orders. We had the turkey burger special which came with fries. Excellent! Hot and scrumptious. Since we have been there, you now can pay at the table which saves waiting at the bar.

This is a sweet spot in downtown Truro that is not to be missed! Delicious beers, salads, and pizzas! We sat outdoors on the deck and enjoyed the great weather and atmosphere. Our server was kind, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend the kale salad. It was delicious! We shared a Margarita pizza that was fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. This place seemed to be very popular with locals and visitors to the area. Stop in and enjoy a beverage and a meal, you will be glad you did!

I've never been to this spot, so I decided to try it as i'm quite the foodie!I was impressed, I ordered the Mexican wrap with the wedgies and the flavour was incredible. The wedges had a wonderful taste not spicy but with actual flavours in them. The wrap was incredible with their own picco de gallo. I had the mild sauce on it and then the picco de gallo, which it was just spicy enough, if you like it really hot and spicy then go with the hot.Service was friendly and smiles everywhere, the owner even came over to the table and introduced himself. This is a place I think may be a regualr pick for me, I highly reccomend!!
