What to say for Ammothines RestaurantWhatever tastes you are looking for Chian traditional meals you can easily combine them with a wonderful view in the restaurant's out tables into karfas beach.Traditional meals of Fishes etc also Pork Beefs Chicken everything we could say comes in connection with new modern cuisine and finally the result is modern plates which makes you travel within the world of tastes of Chios Island.Needless to say Kidsfriendly and of course the owners understand shares the parents concern about food and well done meals......as they are also parents..Greek Hospitality and kindness to the maximum... We were in Chios for Easter as it is regarded as a big festival in Greece. We were looking for a restaurant that specialises in the Easter holidays. Agyra, which means Anchor in English, was recommended to us by our hotel manager. She booked our table for us. When we arrived the restaurant was full of locals so we were lucky to get a table. The food was superb and the owner who took our order never wrote a thing down and when the food arrived it was exactly what we ordered and was served promptly. I will definitely use this restaurant again.

Mpoukia Mpoukia (pronounced bukia bukia) is a small restaurant on the beach front. The food they serve is excellent, the prices are modest and Maria (co-owner) is a very nice person to meet. The grilled kalamari is a must try! You will enjoy every bite you'll have here.

We wanted to eat some meat and therefore followed the waiter's advice and ordered the meat variety (because it was not on the menu). We were served kebab so undercooked that the minced meat was sticky, sausages overseasoned to disguise meat on the verge of going bad and pieces of pork meat with unacceptable fat. And the price of this... 20 euros.And, of course, our complaints went completely unmarked.

Eleni is an amazing cook.We are regulars in Greece and love greek food. This restaurant exceed our expectations, we were in Chios town for three days end up eating here both nights and lunch just before we leave. Very close to the port so great to catch a bite before you leave. They have live music on Saturday and the band is great. You won't regret it, try Elenis Suvlaki it's the best ever.

This is cooking honest, traditional, delicious greek food.Trey really know how to do it, and they do it right (Don't tell my yiayia, but their dolmathakia, made-from-scratch stuffed vine leaves, are better than hers). They did not have a menu in english when we went, but all waiters were speaking english and were ready to explain everything to my british friends. The restaurant was packed with local families but service was fast and servers kind and smiling.

Food as always is delicious or maybe more than delicious !!!Prices absolutely reasonable and if the weather allows it, the lunch outside it much better. The interior is perfect !

We stopped at Nostos Tavern for a late lunch. Nostos is more a Meze (appetiser) style restaurant albeit with large portion sizes with a focus on fish dishes. Some dishes on the menu werenât available. The panoramic view across the port, with sea breezes to cool one down on a hot day is valuable. Service was okay but neither warm nor attentive.
