Tolles Ambiente, tolle Küche.Wir wählten von der Tageskarte: Vorspeise Wachtel an Spargelsalat und Kalbsleber. Beides perfekt.Hauptgang: Einmal Lammkarree mit Bohnengemüse und Röstkartoffeln, einmal Kalb mit Spargel.Beides: Ganz groÃe Klasse.Vorneweg als Gruà aus der Küche: getrüffelte Salami und vegetarische Quiche. Sehr lecker.Eine ganz klare EmpfehlungAuch der Service nett .Alles bestens.

Have been invited there twice. Both times buffet. Food was good but I don't understand why so many people have been talking so highly about this place for decades. After tasting both buffets (one in spring, the other in winter), I conclude that I won't go again unless invited. Don't think it's good value.

In der Marktschänke sitzt man drinnen wie drauÃen sehr schön. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, auch wenn das Lokal gut besucht ist. Man sollte auf jeden Fall reservieren. Die Karte bietet eine gute Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Der Wein war auch sehr lecker. Gerne wieder!

Reasonably priced friendly staff and cold beer. Toilets are clean and children friendly. Beer garden in old courtyard of town and small animal swings will go back.

Es gibt genug Parkplätze. Leider aber keinen Behindertenparkplatz. Wir waren zugeparkt, als wir zum Auto zurückkamen. Dafür gibt es eine Rampe, die vom Service gelegt wird, um in das Lokal zu kommen. Heute haben wir bei Sonnenschein drauÃen gesessen. Hier fühlt man sich wohl. Meine Frau hatte einen Gutschein zum Geburtstag bekommen ( ein Hauptessen ). Den haben wir gerne eingelöst. Das Essen ist reichlich und schmackhaft. Leider ist die Wartezeit aber grenzwertig (heute zum 2.x). Empfehlen können wir das Lokal. Die Ãffnungszeiten sind begrenzt: Do. - So. Das Cafe bietet als Spezialität Windbeutel an.

In a nice German oldtown, Brender is a nice German restaurant that gives good value for money. Served in small rooms, the food is decent and well prices. Service is kinda slow but that comes with this kind of restaurant. I'd recommend it for anymore who would like some decent German food such as Schnitzel or currywurst.

This Michelin star-decorated and Gault Millau praised (17/20 points) restaurant is located in a quiet, rural village and has existed under the same ownership for 27 years - all of which speaks for its quality and renown . Two menus are on offer - either a set or 'Surprise' menu - with guests having the freedom to determine the quantity (up to 7 courses are possible). The restaurant, also known as the St Jacques, is justly but by no means exclusively renowned for its fish and offers a classical, light cuisine in the modern French style with the emphasis on fresh, quality products. It has also established a reputation for an extensive and quality wine cellar - with over 1000 bottles on hand as well as an impressive 'alley' of cooling wine cabinets as one passes from the front of the restaurant to the main dining room. The ambience is pleasing - unfussy and uncluttered with modern, fresh colours - all of which perfectly complement the restaurant's kitchen (also on view from the main dining room) and philosophy. Service is especially welcoming - and combines an easy but unobtrusive friendliness with an impressive food and wine knowledge. All in all, a place that's worth making the effort to visit. (Through partnerships with a couple of local hotels, a shuttle service to and from the bedroom-less restaurant is also available).Why then not the maximum five points? The weather when we visited permitted dining on the outside terrace which, although screened off, shares the space with the dustbins from the kitchen - with occasional noise and flies the result. Stefan's Cafe Restaurant bietet Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen an. Wir waren bis dato nur abends dort und möchten die leckeren Tapas hervorheben. Ansonsten gibt es Pizza, Salate, Schnitzel. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Reservierung über Internet klappt hervorragend. Das einzige Manko ist allerdings die lange Wartezeit auf das Essen.

I visited this Restaurant with friends initially to play the local bowls game - Kempels - and stayed to enjoy the atmosphere and have lunch. The Kempels is great fun, completely different form any bowling alley I've seen. It has to be tried! When we were there the large hall had a band playing - I would call it an 'Oompah' band (apologies if this does not do justice) and the room was full creating a really happy and inclusive atmoshpere. When the lunch arrived I couldnt believe it - soup, half a chicken with chips and ice cream. Chicken was succulent and very tasty and far too much!! Excellent value for money. Great fun. Well worth the visit.
