Lola Breakfast

Had morning coffee here. The staff were very friendly and the service was first class. The coffee- flat white and a long black with milk was just right. The caramel and raspberry muffin was delicious. We shared it and were given 2 plates with extra butter and knives. The outside seating was good. All in all a very memorable experience, which we have conveyed to others visiting Hamilton.

Hazel Hayes

This is a cafe and they also do catering. It is fantastic and really should be added to your list so that other travllers can enjoy their delights.

I live out of Hamilton but work here regularly and Hazel is always my go-to cafe for breakfast. It is always gorgeous. From the lovely welcoming service to the enticing cabinet, the Harvey and Sons tea selection and, especially, the limited but utterly delicious menu, you can’t go wrong. It is my favourite. My last brunch was the hash cake which is thick and delicious and topped with two eggs and hollandaise - yum, yum, yum. The fact that this place is always humming and the staff know the regulars and people are loitering waiting for their favourite items to come out of the ovens or kitchen speaks volumes. Get yourself to Hazel’s.

Yalla Yalla Cafe

We provide soulful food and stellar coffee - amongst other tasty delights. Being Vegan and Vegetarian focussed, our menu has been meticulously and lovingly crafted to taste great and satisfy even the hungriest meat eaters!

Amazing! Could not recommend this place highly enough! So many delicious vegan and vegetarian options, the meat eater in our group didn't even question it until halfway through her veggie burger! So good and good value for money too. I would definitely suggest trying one of the vegan cakes as well as the brownie was heavenly, so rich and gooey. 10/10.

Cafe Fresca

Located next to Hamiltons biggest garden center we have a range of menu and cabinet food with plenty of free parking.

A very busy place on a Sunday morning. 50min wait for the kitchen at 10am, at least they were upfront about it. Cabinet food is quicker. In the end it was 40min so they exceeded expectations. Again it was good they set the scene. The Savory Mince was less than I expected for the price. It was very tasty though.Extras like eggs and bacon is reasonably priced. Average Mocha, good size, hot but nothing special. Outside would be nice in good weather, nothing special inside. All in all a good effort. Average isn't bad!

Waited around 25 minutes for breakfast. When our food came out, it was warm... Cafe wasn't anywhere near packed or full so not sure why the meals took so long. Haloumi with the Big breakfast was rubbery. Coffees arrived 15 minutes before the food. Disappointing and we will not return.

Always a favourite for coffee but today the experience was very disappointing. Our drinks were forgotten. And instead of fast tracking them after waiting over 20minutes, they put us at the back of queue! The incorrect order was delivered - a meat version not vegetarian. The macerated fruit still had plum stones in it - beware!Attention to customers and detail not at usual level.

Looks the part, takeaway food took a while to wait for a toasted panini/sandwich. When opened up the filling was just in the centre which meant for a lot of plain dry bread uneaten. Didn't get any cutlery in the bag or napkins which made it messy to eat the side salad with hands... Coffee was nice. Overall came to $45 for 2 coffees and 2 takeaway paninis/toasted sandwich which was over priced for what we got. Maybe it's better to dine in or dine somewhere else.
