We decided to stay at this hotel for the New Year of 2019.Reception was very friendly and we had the choice out of two rooms.We ended in the Deluxe room (#74) that was fine for us.Breakfast buffet was also fine and we had a choice out of English and Continental food.We also choose for the New Years Eve dinner in the hotel.We had excellent food and enjoyed ourselves, although the setting was a little to posh.Was nothing to improve for the Hotel then?Some small tips :- no every guest is German ;-)- why did a German group have the privilege to occupy/reserve a table in the restaurant so that they where always sure that their table was free?- shouting orders to the kitchen during dinner is not so stylish ;-)

Beautiful foodbar restaurant, fine good dishes. Definitely a must for the gstronome but also cozy for a tasty snack during the cocktail hour.Nice service and particularly nice to see the chef in action at the foodbar.The side dish of langoustine with sea bass is an irresistible favorite for me.I will be back soon!

Small menu, but you can have it anyway you want it. The food is, untypically by Dutch standards, refined and the portions copious. Good wines at reasonable prices and great service. The owners and staff are very friendly, not an obvious characteristic in Holland...

Having no clue where to have a nice diner - we decided to take a look at the feedback. Although MAZ was not one of the top restaurants we are very happy we had our diner there. MAZ is definitely a restaurant to recommend. The food is excellent and the staff is great. However, there are some BUTS. Book on time and once you arrive be patience to be seated. Do not visit this restaurant if you are in a hurry. The restaurant is understaffed and although staff member are really great - they have hard time keeping up with the orders.

Despite the nice weather we were able to get a table. The restaurant has a nice athmosphere with friendly staff. The menu is compact with fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. There is a good wine card and our wine (Sanoma County Zinfandel) was great. This restaurant deserves to be in the top spot in Bergen!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in this New restaurant in Egmond aan Zee.The atmosphere is very pleasant and the seating is great. There is a good choice of dishes at reasonable prices. The restaurant is also very good to visit with (young) children. The wine list shows a variey of good wines and they are reasonably prices.So this is certainly recommended after a day on the beach, when you want to enjoy the sunset with a good meal.Thank you very much Piet, it was a pleasure serving the family

The lifesize wooden ship inside the restaurant first put me off as being a silly tourist trap but this is actaully a nice place with friendly service and food prepared with fresh ingredients and by competent chefs. And not too pompous nor too casual. Also suitable for families. The one weakness might be the winelist that is made up of industrial wineries although none of these are bad wines.Thank you so very much for your appreciation of our restaurant, food and service. This is a lovely beach-side restaurant in the beautiful resort of Bergen Aan Zee. Wonderful, super-friendly staff and great food. The Iberico loin chop was out of this world and their fresh fish, sole, sambas etc are terrific. Also the CUM LAUDE oaked Chardonnay is amongst the best I've tasted and reasonably priced. Altogether a first class experience.

We enjoyed some terrific food at this directly on the beach Restaurant. My husband had the tuna salad and I has the pumpkin soup and the prawns in garlic butter. The service was excellent. This restaurant offers both indoor seating which was great on this windy day and outdoor seating that they offer wRm cushions ands blankets to enjoy in cool weather.

We had a few drinks and snacks at zilte zoen. They had very friendly staff and served great 'bitterballs'. For the kids the dunes are nice to play in the best of both worlds
