Wow what a gem, we consulted trip advisor and decided to go, the menu variety and the food preparation was excellent with some tandoori chicken second to some we had in the UK. The restaurant is very simple ethnic in style with real Indian hospitality. The service was great with the waitresses very helpful in explaining the variety and description of the different dishes
Chutney is well known in Gaborone and has finally arrived in Francistown. If you were one of the fortunate people to be invited to the opening night you were treated to a great selection of meals, live entertainment and fantastic hosting.I was one of the lucky ones at the opening but have been a couple of times since. Chutney takes number one spot in Francistown. Their food is simply delicious and awesome
Tandurei The indian restaurant was started in 2005 and opened 4th branch in Kasane in July 2019. We specialize in indian and basic chinese dishes.
We went for supper early, at about 5:30pm, the location is not too charming being located in a shopping centre next to Nandoâs and Milky Lane. Additionally there are building operations nearby. The restaurant was screened off towards the centre and passageway by a natural tree and additional pot plants, hence we decided to sit outside which again contributed to us having a very pleasant evening, the service was attentive and good.We were allowed, for a corkage fee, to open our own wine, and the food was most delicious. We tried different things and with each item we remarked how freshly prepared and how tasty the food is.The Indian chef and owner came out to ask personally if all was okay.It was more more than okay, thats for sure. In our opinion this restaurant could become Number one or two in Francistown if it would be situated out of a shopping area location. We could very easily go again tonight, the menu is long and offers a great selection.
