Went with my 23 year old son. Publiek has a great "pub" feel as you enter. Warm and inviting on a cold wet night in March. We were sat upstairs as we were eating. I had Runderstoofpot, a really tasty beef stew, my son has a Schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Both really hit the spot. The staff were friendly and attentive. The choice of beers was good - we had some nice Belgian ones. My son is happy, as he is moving to the city and has found a great place to socialise.Thank you for your nice words, we are looking forward to see your son, or yourself ofcourse, a next time!

We came here unannounced with some friends during the summer.After taking our seats, the waitress got to us swiftly.We all had basic dutch beers for starters (+meal) and some finger food off their reasonably-priced menu.I had fish & chips. Nothing to get excited about, but decent and perfect for what we were looking for: simple good-value food.

Really tasty food and great service even though they stop serving breakfast at 11 they still let us order breakfast at 11:30 which was great and very accommodating we got the scramble eggs and toast which you could see was cooked fresh and to order and it was amazing the restaurant is spotless clean throughout

My wife and I had just arrived for the first time visit to beautiful Eindhoven and headed straight for lunch before checking in to our hotel. This cosy place caught our eye and we were lucky enough to find a table and enjoy a most lovely lunch in a cosy almost romantic atmosphere. Great choice of food, friendly staff and delicious salads. Definitely recommended if you are visiting Eindhoven.

We went several time to this restaurant (it was the restaurant of the hotel Pullman Cocagne where we were staying for business): breakfast, buffet lunch and also a dinner in a reserved dining room.The quality of the dishes and the service was always excellent.

We selected the 5 course menu, but due to dietary requirements, not all dishes were the same. My partner rated all courses very highly, literally calling it an â explosion of flavorsâ. For me, the first dish was bland, all other courses were superb. The wine arrangement is good, and I really liked the option of half glasses to go with each course.The restaurant set up is different. All tables and seats are facing the kitchen, dinner theatre style. The set up allows the guests to follow what the cooks are doing, which is nice as long as they are preparing the dishes. But when the team start to clean the kitchen, vigorously scrubbing the floors and walls, it turns a romantic evening out in a painful reminder of the daily household chores. We would recommend you start dinner at 6pm at the latest in order to avoid this part of the spectacle.

The service is slow and inappropriate for business dinner: not discreet at all and regularly interrupting guests, also sometimes for unnecessary questionsPortions are way too small, even for a gastronomic restaurant, To give an idea, we took a main and a dessert, I'm a big guy, but my small slim female colleague joined me to share a kebab after the diner. This was a first for both of us.The place is beautiful, fresh and pleasant, dishes are tasteful but this is expected for that price range)
