Welcome to Sansan Yuzawa page. Sansan is small building. 1st floor is cafe and bar which is many locals are coming. and 2nd, 3rd floor is Backpackers. Sansan is not HOTEL so only we have basic things like rooms, Fton,shared shower and shared bathroom. But we have super friendly cozy atmothpfere ;)

Reviewed By thelonious22As there wasn’t much accommodation available in Tokamachi, we booked a room at Sansan-Cafe and Bar & Backpackers near Echigo-Yuzawa Station. For a simple guesthouse, the private room was a bit pricey. One floor had four small private room and another had two dormitory rooms. Fortunately we were the only guests staying so using the limited number of showers and toilets wasn’t an issue but this probably would be if most of the beds and rooms are full here. The room was quite stuffy even with the air conditioning running. The room reeked of stale tatami smell which would linger on all of our clothes even after leaving. All the space in the house is very tight including the small common area. This guesthouse would be adequate only for travelers who are used to staying at hostels.

Yuki Dake lodge is a newly renovated lodge located in Myoko Kogen, located on the main street of Akakura Onsen in the Main Village. Just a 300 meter walk to the Akakura Onsen chair lifts, Yuki Dake combines accessibility with competitive pricing.
Fantastic place to stay

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, well located in akakura, had a very chilled vibe, good bar downstairs, great breakfast and awesome chill out room. Whether you’re staying in a group or on your own, would highly recommend it.

The price is also reasonable. There are many hot springs around. You can't make a reservation online, so you can make a reservation by phone or email. このゲストハウスは日本の代表的な豪雪地である十日町市にあります。駅からは徒歩で10分です。施設は清潔で、なおかつ的確です。価格も適正です。周辺には温泉もたくさんあります。ネットでの予約はできないようなので、電話かメールで予約になります。

Reviewed By Nekojita-R会社の仲間と1泊2日2食付きでスノボのために利用しました。 ご飯が美味しくて、お風呂が綺麗、バスタオルが真っ白、何より宿の方が皆さん優しくて、こちらの要望に柔軟に対応してくださる感じが大変嬉しかったです。 建物が古いので、トイレなど我慢ポイントはありますが、それを帳消しにするほどの満足度です。 岩原スキー場もファミリーゲレンデは斜度が緩やかで初心者から中級者向けで横に広く、ナイターもあり滑り応えがあります。そのまま滑って宿まで行けるのが嬉しいですね！

河原にある野趣満点の秘湯
Reviewed By kutsuhimo苗場山の麓の沢沿いにあり、最寄りの登山口から2時間以上歩かないとたどり着けない「秘湯」です。またただ行きづらい場所にあるだけでなく、温泉、これは露天風呂なのですが、なんと沢のすぐ隣に湧き出しているのです。非常に開放的な温泉です。登山道から丸見えですがそんなこと気にならなくなるくらいリフレッシュできます。立ち寄り入浴も500円で可能です。多くの人が利用しているわけではありません。のんびりできます。もちろんアメニティ類はありません。

Reviewed By yamatototo駅から徒歩5分、立地がいいので利便性はあります。 ご夫婦でデザイナーをされているらしく、東京から２拠点生活で週末不定期で運営されているようです。 しかしながら他の方も書かれていますが、ここの奥様のほうが相当にくせがあり、普通に会話しているだけなのに 「さっきいいましたよね？？？」(←言ったと思い込んでいらっしゃいました) 「そりゃそうですよね？？」 「すみませんあなたとどう接していいかわたしわからないのですが？？？」と、初対面、まして宿の方がお客に接する常識的な態度を逸脱した言動が非常に多く、本当に嫌な思いをしました。なるべくこの奥様のご機嫌を損ねないように振舞うことでいっぱいでした。 全国旅して、こんなに嫌な思いをしたのはここが初めてです。 最低の一言です。 デザイナーだから多少クセがあっても。。で、許される範囲をゆうに超えています。 もう２度とお会いしたくありませんし、まつだいを拠点に研究をしている仲間にも絶対に行かないほうがいい、嫌な思いをするだけと伝えました。 まつだいには、観光案内所の方やタクシーの運転手さんなど、本当に温かみのある素晴らしい方がたくさんいらっしゃるので、わざわざこちらの東京のかたがやられているお宿に泊まらなくても、現地の方がやられている民宿などに泊まられたほうが、きっといい旅の思い出のままでお家に帰ってこれるかと思います。 私のような思いをされる人が増えないことを願って投稿させていただきました。

The only Hostel within walking distance of the lifts, Myoko Powder Hostel is a warm and friendly hostel, with the charm of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The first hostel in Myoko we are ideal to all those wishing to explore the famous Japanese snow on a budget, with self-catering facilities in our fully equipped kitchen. We're perfectly located in the heart of the Akakura Onsen village. It is just 3 minutes walk to the bottom lifts and 2 minutes walk to the main street. We are also the only hostel to offer a free shuttle service to the local large supermarket so you can stock up on cheaper supplies. We have fantastic common room facilities, with a HD projector for watching films and two lovely wood fires. All our staff are extremely social and have a fantastic knowledge of the area having worked or lived in Myoko for three seasons. They ensure your stoke is high and you are ready to shred the sweetest JaPowder lines the next day.

Reviewed By travellingnaeEveryone at MPH was so super accommodating and kind to me from the get go. Special mention to Pete for all his help and local knowledge. Nestled right in the powder even in March! A short walk to the Main Street and a very friendly and home-like vibe. So many fun games and things to do if you want to stay in too. Love that there is a kitchen to use and a tv room with proper fire places in this cute hostel make the vibe amazing. Will definitely be coming back and definitely recommend for anyone. Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! 6 stars ? ps. Those memory foam beds!!! ??
