Reviewed By gareliatEverything about this place is perfect. The views are so beautiful, the staff is super helpful and friendly, the food is super good. We have a small car and the road to get to the hotel was not a problem at all but if you don’t have a car or don’t want to take yours the hotel has a shuttle from San Juan del Sur to the place and back at different hours. We spend the weekend there and the whole experience was nice. You can hike or go to the private beach (we couldn’t do it because it was raining) so you have the opportunity to do different activities in the hotel or just relax in one of the two pools they have. We recommend this place 100%

The food and drinks service is excellent and there are many comfortable lounging areas, including wonderful VIP Private Cabanas. The beach here is less rocky than many others in the area and there is free use of the kayaks and paddle boards. It's the perfect place to enjoy a warm and sunny day

Reviewed By MSivesgaardLovely private room and the shared bathroom was sparkling clean. No bugs except for the occasional fly. Perfect for a quiet stay. This is not a party hostal. Great selection of books to exchange and great common garden area inside the courtyard. The hosts are the best thing. So helpful and welcoming. Speak both English and Spanish. Great location near the cathedral, but a bit away from the general hostel scene. Resident dog is a great bonus

Wonderful Host Family
Reviewed By JgbmEdinCasa de los Berrios is run by a most friendly couple who make you comfortable and at home. The rooms are basic but kept clean and prepared with attention for detail with what they have. There's some typical rocking chairs to relax on in the garden, and the centre is just 2 blocks away. I was there during the political protests, and the couple was most kind in offering their common sense advice on the situation, without any scare mongering. In short, it's great and quiet get-away. If you believe in supporting small family businesses like me, you won't be disappointed by Los Berrios.

What a disappointing first night in Nicaragua!
Reviewed By Lovetotravel121221I booked this hotel because of the great reviews, the time our flight landed and the convenience of being close to the airport. We arrived late at night and their shuttle was not available so I was told they would have a taxi waiting for us to bring us to the hotel. That never happened. Upon arrival - no greeting from the woman at the front desk and the atmosphere was not welcoming at all. She explained nothing to us and only asked for payment. I had to ask for water, amenities information and the time that breakfast is served. The rooms were comfortable, I like the three beds and they have AC. My husband however, made the mistake of looking behind one of the bed posts and there was tons of hair, dust and dirt accumulated for who knows how long. It was awful! In the morning - same, no greeting from a different woman at the front desk. To top it off - they were supposed to refund $50.00 back to my credit card. As of today, no refund! So on top of being rude, they also keep the money that they say they are going to refund. Pros - bellhop was extremely nice and helpful and so were the gentlemen working in the restaurant in the morning. Other than that - I would stay far away from this place. Or maybe because we are latinos we are treated differently than other guests. We will never stay here again and we were very excited to be here as this was our first trip to Nicaragua.

No resort temos uma piscina exterior e vistas para a piscina A vista do terraço é simplesmente fascinante. Podemos desfrutar de uma maravilhosa refeição no restaurante ou de uma bebida no bar. O nosso quartos estava equipados com ar condicionado, uma máquina de lavar louça, um micro-ondas, uma máquina de café, um chuveiro, produtos de higiene pessoal gratuitos, um guarda-roupa, uma televisão de ecrã plano, uma casa de banho privativa e uma varanda com vista para o mar. Existe um funcionário na receção 24 horas falam inglês e espanhol e sempre disponíveis para ajudar a qualquer hora e em qualquer altura. Os trabalhadores foram tão queridos que foram além do que era preciso. A comida era saborosa.

Reviewed By H1355JSvictormWorst place from Granada, right in the corner you will see people selling drugs this hotel is located at EL BARRIO MALDITO most dangerous location in Granada they dont tell u this, No cool water, no ice, no matches, you cant use the pool because is too small. THEY SELL SOMETHING BUT WHEN YOU ARE THERE IS WAY DIFERENT.

I enjoyed my stay at this property, and managed to go out to Granada and Mombacho volcano, just a short drive from the lodge. Thanks Ursula, for taking care!
