From the Big Mac to the Quarter Pounder, we have been serving smiles and memories, coast-to-coast, since 1967.
Have been to this McDonald's three different times and every time the washrooms are a mess with fecal matter. I'm not talking about a toilet not flushed, poop smeared on toilets, walls, or starting to overflow from a toilet. When addressing this issue with management on my third (and final visit ever to this location). Management did apologize for the terrible state of the washrooms it was brushed off as an everyday occurrence. The cashier decided to add her two cents to the conversation by saying that perhaps I'm "always going in after the same person" and informed me that when she checked the bathroom earlier that morning there was nothing wrong with it....it is a good thing I let them know after 1pm about the problem. As for the restaurant it self I have never been in a dirtier place to eat. When wiping down the table and high chair myself before my children ate made me thankful I always take that extra step.If your bathroom and dinning area is that dirty what is your kitchen like?

Food was hot which was great. As a former Restaurant Manager I was alarmed when the foreign workers they have clocked in on the cash and than took off his jacket and started working the food prep board. Not acceptable especially since he could not of had time to wash his hands before touching food product.

We stopped here on our way back to Fredericton. It's a new location so everything inside was clean and fresh. The employees were professional but friendly. Everything in the toppings display looked awesome to this very picky eater. We really enjoyed it, my husband had the sub in a salad bowl and he loved it- perfect for his keto diet! We'll stop in again the next time we travel up that way.
we went for coffee in the evening and found this tim's not far from rodd's resort. the smell of fresh doughnuts is what brought us there.

We were hungry and wanted something other than pizza. Thats when we came across Eds that make fresh tasty subs. The menu is very easy to read all the choices you have to build a very tasty sub. It took longer to say what I wanted then to make it, with all the choices that are available! You have the option to eat in as there is a spacious dining area and at the back of the establishment there are video gambling machines located in a pub. We were unable to eat in however there was plenty of napkins and cutlery provided.

Best sliders ever.
Until they Improve this place - I would avoid it. I love diners and diner food and the people at Ben's were very nice. However, Ben's should improve its entire approach or just close. I understand theres some history with the place, but apart from some knick knacks and photos on shelves - its mostly just a dingy, not very clean front room. Lets start with the food. It only offers burgers/dogs/fries. At 5$ a burger you might think you're getting a little more "craft" in your food. Nope. Its those frozen premade barely there burger patties. Soda in glass with ice? Nope in a can out of the fridge - no glass, no ice - no vanilla cokes/cherry cokes or ice cream floats. No condiments on table. Or napkins. The burger is served to you when the waitress brings it to your seat - in her hands with one piece of paper. No plate. No plastic forks or knives. No ice cream/milkshakes/pie any of the other items you might expect to find in the classic diner. not even the sad little cup of coleslaw you often get. So to summarize - dingy room, overpriced, poor quality food, no accompanying plates/napkins/utensils - people are nice, but that doesnt make up for the rest. Heres hoping they can take some steps to turn this into the nicer diner it certainly could be.

Local and tourist can easily underestimate this home-made cooking restaurant. The outside and inside look really....plain. But wait until you have a taste of their home-made cooking. You will mark this spot on your map as a must stop place to have a quick and "big" bite. From the poutine to the fish & chips, you will like them.

I went to this establishment Saturday afternoon on the advise of my girlfriend, the place was packed with people waiting for their orders so that always seems like a good sign, unfortunately it wasn't meant to be for 2 order of fish and chips it cost approx $30.00 .... the fish was almost non existent in the batter and the fries were greasy and soggy. Save your money and go to MacDonald's instead and going here was like throwing money out the window. At one time this was the best place on the river to get your fish and chips but it has definitely gone down hill
