Food does not always hold up to the surroundings..It is ok..but for the prices..the food is not over the top..in deliciousness... Ate at 1809 rwice this last month.. I'm a big fan of the Cunard, I've tried most in town and this is my hands down favourite. They have the best egg rolls and everything is always hot and fresh. Do yourself a favour and try something other than a combo plate, they are great but the real treasures are the specialty dishes. Had the curry vegetables with chicken and beef with ginger and onion. Both were fantastic!

This is a very busy restaruant so there can be a wait to get food, especially on weekends when it is especially busy but worth the wait. The decor and ambiance are nice. I have eaten here a few times in the past year and have always enjoyed it.

I visit the Miramichi several times a year and always make sure to get an order from Estey's.....every time. Call ahead, eat it while it's hot....a little salt and a can of Sussex Golden Ginger Ale is all you need for the perfect feed of Estey's.

Enjoyed O'Ds for lunch with friends from work and we enjoyed lunch. I ordered the Donair Flat bread , others ordered Greek Chicken flat bread, burger and club. The food was very fresh and hot. Great fresh, quality ingredients. The only critique I have is that both flat breads were overwhelmed with rosemary or summer savory. Both tasted the same after a few bites. Essentially it tasted like eating Turkey stuffing after that 3rd bite. Not my preference in flavour but perhaps it is great for others. Others at the table thoroughly enjoyed their burger and club. The flat breads and the $8.50 price for a glass of local draught are the only reason this great pub receives 4 stars instead of 5. Service was 10/10.

This is a seasonal restaurant, serving mainly deep fried dishes like scallops, clams, fish & chips, chicken fingers but they do make a really good Hot Turkey Sandwich. They have a really wide selection of frozen treats. Eat in or take out, CASH ONLY. Be prepared for a line up on really hot days, but their ice cream treats are worth the wait. Oh, and they make their own waffle cones in house.

Craved a hearty meal after being on the road all day and this restaurant did not disappoint. The sizzling beef, noodles, and veggie dishes were excellent. No leftover bag needed as my family devoured all that we ordered. The pot of tea was pricey considering that they were teabags but overall, we left happy.

The best restaurant in Miramichi in my opinion! The service is always so friendly and perfectly timed .. you will never feel rushed, but I'm sure if you were in a hurry they would accommodate you. The menu has a good selection and they have nightly specials, plus nights where they feature salmon, pasta and steak. The Mercantile Room in the back is perfect for family gatherings, meetings and parties. Plus they make the best martini in town.

Staying at a local B&B, our host Craig recommended Mike's, and he didn't strike out! I had the souvlaki, and my wife had the Rice Bowl. Both meals were cooked just right, and served nice and hot. Our waitress was cute, friendly, and attentive. Lots of people, but not too loud. The only possible shortcoming was a lack of regular-sized tables and chairs. The high bar stools were a bit of a challenge for my aging hips.
