Reviewed By lesliechuaclThis is absolutely one of the best hotel to stay in Nara. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The location was pretty strategic and near to the tourist attraction spots. The room I had was clean and spacious enough only for two people. The best thing about this hotel is the hot spring. Absolutely soothing and clean. 10/10 would stay there again!

Reviewed By IrlantilainenThis is the Daiwa Royal Hotel. 1 block n. of the higashi (east) exit of KashiharaJinguMae station, it's large and stylish in a dated, but superbly maintained, way. All the usual business hotel amenities, plus Japanese style rooms and 2 large onsen (not just oforu) baths. Very generous wide choice breakfast. Good base for a trip to Yoshino on the Kintetsu railway, or the nearby historic Imai-chi and Yagi-chi districts. Very helpful tourist office between hotel and station. Excellent restaurant 'Waraku Shin'; turn left out of hotel to main road, then 200m past Coco's. On right, 2nd floor up stairway.

My Feb trip in 2017, 1st night stay in Nara
Reviewed By Fauna CI stay on the first night of my Feb trip in 2017. Since we drive a car then we need a hotel with free car park. This hotel located at quite a quiet area but just few mins drive then you can find restaurants and mini convenience shops. The staffs nice as normal in Japan. The bed is wide enough in the room. The most great is the onsen. Open hot spa onsen available for female. Maybe after the onsen we both sleep so sweet so we missed the breakfast. If I plan to visit Nara again, I will consider this hotel because it’s valuable price.

The Suginoyu Hotel couldn't be more perfectly located - overlooking the Otaki Reservoir, surrounded by mountains. The service at the Suginoyu Hotel was excellent - the greeting and service we received from the front desk, the restaurant staff, and all other staff we came in contact with, was excellent. Our room, perfect. We were spoilt. It felt like first class. The amenities throughout were perfect - the hot pools, the restaurant, the souvenir shop and not to forget the karaoke room. The restaurant menu was pure Japanese style and accompanied by an excellent drinks list. This was the perfect location for a night where we just wanted to get-away from civilization and chill-out. And that's exactly what we did. If you are looking for such a place, place the Suginoyu Hotel on your 'must experience' list.

Reviewed By konan00今回は私用で近くに来て、お昼時だったので妻と二人で食事をさせて頂きました。松花堂弁当を頂きました。凄くボリュウムもあり、美味しかったです。席はコロナ対策なのか1テーブル2人で窓から外の綺麗な景色を見ながら食べれました。宿泊もできるという事で、今度は宿泊したいと思います。従業員の方の対応もよく、帰りに見どころ有りますかとお尋ねした所、親切丁寧に教えて頂きました。そこへ行くと桜やモミジなどが綺麗に咲いており、妻も大喜びでした。本当にありがとうございました。
