Reviewed By Catherine4290The stay that I experienced is not up to the standard that Ritz Carlton is renowned for around the world. I experienced several issues during my stay and eventually I felt stressed and could not enjoy my stay. First of all, I am a Lifetime member but noticed the lack of service from the moment I arrived. I was not offered a welcome drink even though other people around me that checked in received one. I was not offered a room upgrade at checkin even though the hotel was practically empty with very few guests. Upon arrival to my room I found a moldy pillow that I immediately reported and gave to the room service staff when they delivered my room service order. Two out of the three meals that I ordered arrived cold because they were not placed in a hot box for delivery and were pushed through the hallway without ensuring the correct temperature upon arrival. Upon delivery of my replacement meal, the staff member sat the hot box (that I requested my meal be delivered in this time) on the floor of my room and it sat there until 6:00pm. I had to request that it be removed twice. The chaise lounge sofa had stains on it. The final and most disturbing issue was when I prepared a cup of coffee and after drinking it discovered that the coffee machine was dirty and disgusting. I contacted the front desk via the app and had to request that it be removed and replaced with a new one twice. Ironically the replacement machine was also dirty and the staff member called for another replacement when she noticed it. I came to the Ritz Carlton Okinawa to get some rest and relaxation and this stay was absolutely terrible and ruined my staycation. Sadly, I do not recommend this hotel and will never stay there again. I don’t understand why I was treated so poorly.

Reviewed By MamypokkoIt is a good place to stay with enough facilities, comfortable rooms, location and free parking. It's suitable for preparing trips to Churaumi Aquarium. But room is too small and very low space. Be aware if you have a big luggage.

Reviewed By deadprawnVery good hotel for stay in nago. We stayed here for 1 night. the staff is very helpful and the service is great. There’s also hot spring. They also give female customer 5 things to choose which is very sweet. Blue seal cup ice cream is also given as welcoming dessert. Location is very convenient. Right opposite there is drug eleven store and Lawson convenient store. There is MacDonald near by too. It is 5 mins drive to don quijote and AEON mall. Parking is free.

Reviewed By lingwongslROOM TYPE - one room with two queen beds for 4 pax with breakfast. we got the highest level that was 7. the beds were comfy and the furniture was new. there were 2 sofas in the room and two chairs on the balcony. toilet was spotless. although no bottled drinks were given we could get them free from the lobby along with all toiletries (no idea why was that so). VIEW - as the hotel was facing the sea just across a small lane we could easily get to the beach (sadly we didn't go because it was raining). However, at level 7 from our balcony we got the BEST view ever! in the night we could clearly hear the sound of crashing waves - how therapeutic RESTAURANT - it's a small lounge for breakfast buffet which can accommodate some 6 to 7 tables (4 pax each). food although simple fare was good and the place was very clean HOTEL AREA - the lobby area was clean and there's a mini laundry room you could use for a small fee. there's a machine beside the reception counter where we used to make payment - cash and card were accepted. parking was available and we paid ¥500. after 10pm the entrance would be locked and access would be via key card scan. There were some shops within walking distance - one of which was a&w. STAFF - mika and goya - i like them! well, the only regret is that we stayed for only ONE night.

Reviewed By NiameowThis place was super clean and updated. It has a parking spot and located near some of the touristy destinations. It has a kitchenette if you'd like to cook by yourself. You need to purchase a detergent, but your room has a laundry and dryer. For accommodations in Japan, I found this place was spacious. No complain. I stayed at a couple of other places in Okinawa, and I liked this place the best so far. I would stay here again!

Reviewed By _G5217RB「フロント」がありません。入口前で、停まっている車の中から、乗っていたおじさんに声をかけられ、事務所で宿泊カードを記入し、カギをもらいます。 よくあるワンルームタイプのホテル で、宿泊した部屋にはセミダブルベッドとシングルベッドがありました。その他、冷蔵庫、洗濯機、鍋類、包丁までありました。乾燥機は共有でホテルの入口にあります。 またWi-Fiもあります。至って普通のホテルです。 ただ、徒歩圏内に店はありません。

Perfect for a wellness getaway
Reviewed By Skim87I had the most amazing stay here with my wife for her birthday. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Particularly, Umeki San went above and beyond helping us arrange transport and making restaurant reservations. The wellness theme is carried thoughtfully throughout the property with simple but nice finishings. Thalasso experience was fun and the in room massage I received was extremely helpful for my muscle issues (and very very strong). The food is delicious and fresh though some things can taste bland. Overall, 5/5 stars, strongly recommend for your trip to Okinawa!

Good location... ok facilities

Unfortunately the convenience store was closed (for renovation?), so that was a bit inconvenient.... Beach view was quite nice, room size is ok, with a small kitchenette in the room. The room was a bit dusty, but in general clean. Breakfast was ok. Quite a lot of foreign guests staying. I didn't quite like the "open corridor" design..... quite noisy in the evening with the cars passing by, and it can be quite cold and windy when you leave the room.

Grinch who stole whos Marriott Christmas

Outside bushes to a giant tree inside the lobby were amazingly decorated with 100's of poinsettias was absolutely beautiful. Santa mingling with the guests in the lobby, then making room calls later and delivering presents was magic. 2020 the lobby was clean as a thistle as the Grinch had just been there. No Christmas cake or cookies this year. Staff was not decked in Santa hats, nor a live band playing subtly in the background as in yesteryears. The ritz in executive-level is gone without even a hot dish, and the best service was cheese and bread. Even the small Charlie Brown Christmas tree in the room was gone. Snacks were all in wrappers, it seems that the executive chef and his staff have just left. Missing are many of our favorite staff faces as we have made the pilgrimage to the Marriott for over a decade, but we have finally had it as this was the last straw next year we will seek something new and we can only hope and read something positive in review.
