Reviewed By rosien406The hotel is in a beautiful location; the beach, which is seconds away from the rooms, is perfect and much cleaner than the other local beaches. There are hotel sun loungers right on the sand for no additional charge. The room was comfortable (with a/c and hot water despite it being one of the lower cost options) and very clean and staff were welcoming, patient and accommodating. We were very impressed with the meals here and were served big portions of tasty food. Our stay was wonderful and excellent value for money; we highly recommend this hotel! Thank you very much AZ Family Resort!

Reviewed By fiesolemGuest house is very old and tired - feels like your grandmothers house - but seemed to be clean. The room was very small and the bed and pillow were very uncomfortable. A few ants crawling on my bed but that was forgiveable. Breakfast was decent for Myanmar and hosts were very friendly aand helpful. The famous Rangoon Tea House is just down the road and theres lots of great places to walk to including Sule Pagoda. People are so friendly especially if you say "Mingalaba" to them. Overall, enjoyed our stay but wish we had better sleeps.

Shore is spacious enough for those who are planning to do their group activities or for some leisure beach sports. Bungalows are available with fans while Villas are with Air-conditioning units. Villas are overlooking the shoreline. Staffs understand English and very accommodating. Owners (Dennis & War War) are fantastic and I really appreciate their hospitality. Reviewed By Jen JThe compound and hotel are lovely to look at. Unfortunately, the island only has electricity from 5:30-8am and from 5:30 to 11pm. So the room only has one small window and a fan, but the fan mostly won't work due to lack of electricity, so the rooms are quite airless. There are lots of mosquito and the mattress is super thin. No hot shower. No room service. Staff are lovely and the breakfast is nice. Of the two options in town, this is the better one.

The Hut at LV is cheap and cheerful accommodation for the unconcerned traveller on a budget... Double or twin beds in a private room in the hut. Toilet and shower facilities in a separate block. Use of all LV facilities. Breakfast included.

Reviewed By pa2518We had a great time here, nice clean bungalows with a great beach right at your doorstep. The owners are extremly friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was good with both western and Myanmar choices. And also the whole resort is powered by solar panels, seems like the right way to go.

Paradise at the end of the world
Reviewed By FlorinaOnTourWe’ve spend 6 days in one of the beachfront bungalows and had a wonderful time. YES - the way to get there is not the easiest one but worth the trouble more than double. The clean and comfortable wooden bungalow was located directly on the beach. Our private bathroom was made out of stones – nice natural look :) and the interior was very functional. The ocean was amazing for swimming, tubing and also snorkelling there and I liked the beach shower in front of each bungalow. The beach and the private sun chairs were perfect for sun bathing – mostly it was too hot for this in the mid of April :) The restaurant had very good food -Western and Burmese style and also breakfast was very good. In the surrounding of G7 Plage you can find a lot of things to do. There is a pagoda on a little hill, a lot of different beaches, you can do fishing or snorkelling trips and there are a few villages with very friendly locals. We were this lucky to stay there during Thingyan (the Burmese New Year water festival) and have had one the “parties” of life :-D We feel like blessed to be part of this family, water, spreading, dancing, funny, lovely, warm heart celebration ….. Reviewed By Moh Moh PRoom is very dirty, location not so bad, taking long time for check out, my son was pissed a little on the bed thay charge me ks 5000 for that this is not fair. They are looking for only money not looking for customer satisfied.
