On our last night in Bodrum, we decided to stay closer to our hotel. Based on the good reviews, we chose Sofi’s. It didn’t disappoint. We came after sunset, so we didn’t get to experience the beautiful views. However, the area was lively and we still sat along the waterside. I didn’t feel that we had missed out on anything, in other words. We were presented with a plate of traditional mezzes to choose from, which is a tradition I love! Seeing what you are getting, as well as an explanation of the dish, is always a plus. We chose two, one a spinach-based dip and a yogurt-based one, as well as octopus. They were all wonderful. My husband ordered a bottle of wine. However, they had ran out of his choice so the waiter brought two other options. He decided on one and said it was the best bottle he’d had while in Turkey! Cheers for the recommendation. I had eaten seafood for 2 straight weeks and decided on a meat dish. I had the traditional Shepherd’s dish, SAÇ KAVURMA, I believe it’s called (don’t quote me-still working on my Turkish). It was delicious and I’m just disappointed I couldn’t finish it all. The presentation was beautiful as well, as you can see from the photo. The owner or manager, Alex, came over to ensure everything was satisfying. I can understand why he gets so many compliments because he is very polite, funny and seems to truly care about his guests. We were too full for dessert although I won’t hesitate to return on our next trip. Then I’ll leave room for dessert. As an aside, the restaurant is in a small hotel that looks quite cute. I can’t speak to what it’s like to stay there, but it’s a fantastic location and I’d venture a guess that it would be a nice place to stay outside of a major resort. I couldn’t help taking some photos of the statues around the hotel area. Thank you to everyone at Sofi’s. We will be back!We appreciate your lovely review, please come again and join us for a great sunset at Sofi’s.We also would love to host you at Taskule Boutique Hotel on your next stay.

On being seated we were given two menus, one Turkish and one English. Prices averaged 15tl cheaper on Turkish menu, I pointed this out to guy taking order (manager I think) who laughed it off and said you’ll be charged English prices when I told him I was ordering from Turkish menu. Bill come after fairly average meal with English prices. I paid it after remarking and left no tip. I will not be eating there again

The tapas sign Caught my eye walking along the marina looking for some lunch. The tapas were just French bread with different toppings. Good selection of mains sea bass fillet - grilled chicken breast- and crispy chicken for little one. I had the fillet steak which I asked to see and the chef was happy to bring out to the table. Very nice cut and cooked medium. Good flavour. Jugs of sangria were great but we added a can of sprite as was a bit winey. Plenty of fish in the water by tables. Great location nice views.

Our Restaurant is located on the seaside at Turgutreis Town of Bodrum. We have a beach in front of the restaurant and we have a terrace that you can be able to watch the amazing sunset. The cuisine is Turkish and Mediterranean, traditional.

The sunset view of this restaurant is really awesome! Out table was just on the beach and we were stepping on the sand during our dinner. The best thing about this restaurant is “You can bring your own drink concept” which you can save a real amount of money. You can bring your own raki or wine and they serve it for 20TL per person. This is not mentioned any where that’s the bad point. They also don’t give you a menu and you don’t know how much your orders costs! I don’t trust this kind of places. But they have fish and salad menu for 35 TL and the fish was very delicious. They also have live music.
