The tapas sign Caught my eye walking along the marina looking for some lunch. The tapas were just French bread with different toppings. Good selection of mains sea bass fillet - grilled chicken breast- and crispy chicken for little one. I had the fillet steak which I asked to see and the chef was happy to bring out to the table. Very nice cut and cooked medium. Good flavour. Jugs of sangria were great but we added a can of sprite as was a bit winey. Plenty of fish in the water by tables. Great location nice views.

Fener Restaurant

Unfortunately this was our very last evening we spent at Fener Restaurant. Really sad, as we look back to many charming memories, lunches & dinners we spent there. Being kind of local for almost 3 years here, we had a somehow sentimental relation to this place as our Bodrum experience started there. Well, we had it. Sorry to say.Last week we went to Fener on a Sunday night and we were amazed how big the restaurant got. Needless to say - now it is too big and the service has no chance to cope with the number of guests. Rushed Service, bad - tiny - table, staff not well-trained - but the worst thing was the fish. Ok, it is high season, it is hot down here - but: it should never happen, that a fish restaurant serves spoiled fish. After we realized we told the waiter to change the fish - still trying to keep the mood up to a relaxed level. But then we had to wait for almost 1 hour until the new fish was delivered.Needless to say, we left the Restaurant without eating the Fish and had fun with the spoiled, bad fish all night long.Sorry, dear Fener Restaurant: There is no excuse for such thing happened. You screwed up royally.Regarding the Mezze & Co: the appetizers are ok, but not more. The Fried Calamari had been already better, they were just to greasy. So Good-bye, Fener - we hope this does not happen to many of your guests.

This restaurant is our favorite in Turgut Reis.Nestled in the Sabanci Park the venue is owned and managed by Bulent Bey and Metin Bey. There has been no loss of quality (aka quality creep) over the years. The menu lists choices and their prices (no bargaining over fish offerings like other "fancy" restaurants) and the food and service are first rate. Last evening our Dutch friends joined us here for dinner and we all enjoyed fish (sea bass) dinners which were excellent! Fresh and expertly cooked and served.Add to this the fantastic sunsets enjoyed from the patio this place is hard to beat.

Our Restaurant is located on the seaside at Turgutreis Town of Bodrum. We have a beach in front of the restaurant and we have a terrace that you can be able to watch the amazing sunset. The cuisine is Turkish and Mediterranean, traditional.

The sunset view of this restaurant is really awesome! Out table was just on the beach and we were stepping on the sand during our dinner. The best thing about this restaurant is “You can bring your own drink concept” which you can save a real amount of money. You can bring your own raki or wine and they serve it for 20TL per person. This is not mentioned any where that’s the bad point. They also don’t give you a menu and you don’t know how much your orders costs! I don’t trust this kind of places. But they have fish and salad menu for 35 TL and the fish was very delicious. They also have live music.

We ate at Salt Kitchen 6 evenings out of the 14 nights we were in Turgutreis. We couldn’t fault the food, surroundings or the service by Sehmus and his team and of course the most beautiful sunsets anyone can imagine. You can have a meal before going into Turgutreis for the evening or just while away the hours there. Definitely 5 stars - if there was 6 it would be that! Can’t wait for next year.

Lapikant Restaurant, offers a wide range of food and excellent service, definitely the best steaks in Turgutreis, I had the chefs special steak and it was delicious, I would also recommend the traditional chicken and lamb dish cooked with peppers and tomatoes in a clay pot. It’s in the perfect location, right on the seafront, if your visiting Turgutreis don’t miss it !!

Having visited many restaurants both high end and local I can say without question, this is an excellent place to eat good quality freshly made local food. Excellent service from the ever friendly (and English speaking) Yusuf who combines great humour and friendliness when delivering the excellent food. Fresh fish and meat bought each day from market - perfectly cooked. We eat the Nazar special - an epic feast of meats to share and another night simply perfectly grilled sea bass bought that day. Prices are remarkable and show what an owner chef and his wife can achieve with care and consistency every day. You’ll love the puffy freshly made oven hot flat bread and salad served compliment with your meal. (Don’t over order!) Highly recommend. Not necessary to book but market night (saturday) it’s busy.

On our last night in Bodrum, we decided to stay closer to our hotel. Based on the good reviews, we chose Sofi’s. It didn’t disappoint. We came after sunset, so we didn’t get to experience the beautiful views. However, the area was lively and we still sat along the waterside. I didn’t feel that we had missed out on anything, in other words. We were presented with a plate of traditional mezzes to choose from, which is a tradition I love! Seeing what you are getting, as well as an explanation of the dish, is always a plus. We chose two, one a spinach-based dip and a yogurt-based one, as well as octopus. They were all wonderful. My husband ordered a bottle of wine. However, they had ran out of his choice so the waiter brought two other options. He decided on one and said it was the best bottle he’d had while in Turkey! Cheers for the recommendation. I had eaten seafood for 2 straight weeks and decided on a meat dish. I had the traditional Shepherd’s dish, SAÇ KAVURMA, I believe it’s called (don’t quote me-still working on my Turkish). It was delicious and I’m just disappointed I couldn’t finish it all. The presentation was beautiful as well, as you can see from the photo. The owner or manager, Alex, came over to ensure everything was satisfying. I can understand why he gets so many compliments because he is very polite, funny and seems to truly care about his guests. We were too full for dessert although I won’t hesitate to return on our next trip. Then I’ll leave room for dessert. As an aside, the restaurant is in a small hotel that looks quite cute. I can’t speak to what it’s like to stay there, but it’s a fantastic location and I’d venture a guess that it would be a nice place to stay outside of a major resort. I couldn’t help taking some photos of the statues around the hotel area. Thank you to everyone at Sofi’s. We will be back!We appreciate your lovely review, please come again and join us for a great sunset at Sofi’s.We also would love to host you at Taskule Boutique Hotel on your next stay.

I was reccomended to visit razaki bahce by some friends who had a wonderful experience. I visited for breakfast with my family on a busy Sunday morning. We ordered the serpme breakfasts and we weren't disappointed. We were served a selection of fresh olives, home made jams, honey, cucumber, tomato and peppers. A mixed aubergine salad, an array of cheeses, fresh bread and tea. We were asked how we would like our eggs cooked and were given the choice of scrambled with onions, peppers and chilli's, scrambled on its own, fried with salami or fried alone. We sat in the peaceful garden and enjoyed the sunshine, the service at razaki bahce was fantastic, we couldn't fault it. Our breakfast was very filling and we would definitely go again. We made a reservation for dinner a few nights later. We were delighted to have a table full of mezze, pastry stuffed with aubergine, cheese pastry, olives, mixed salads, home made yoghurt, and a mix of special mezze dishes from that day along with tasty grilled meet. Betul and inci are very friendly owners and very welcoming, always smiling and will cook special meals at your request. Razaki bahce is in ortakant, just 20 minutes from bodrum. Everything you'll eat at razaki bahce is hand made or from the local surrounding villages (olives /cheese)
