This property faces - as well as other ones - on the picturesque main square of the historic town of Avigliana. It inspired us with its appearance, casual and though somewhat fancy, then we entered.First of all, we would like to mention the extraordinary kindness of the manager (who apparently is also the same person - the only one - who prepares the food). But above all we must praise the quality of the food and the care of its preparation.We were four, and from the day menu we chose a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, enough for everyone. Then three of us have chosen a first course ("tortelli di ricotta" with pesto and tomatoes), one chose fried fish.All this was accompanied - as well as with water bottles - with a great bottle of "Gattinara" wine, six years old.The price was 105 Euros: not excessive, but still not low. Anyway we could not wish for better food and service.

We arrived on a Sat night and they were fully booked with a large party. However as we were staying just up the road they agreed to find us a table. Our dogs were made welcome too. Whilst we were waiting we were given some pizza slices straight out of the wood oven. The chilled white wine was excellent. We both had pizzas and were very pleased. The staff were welcoming and professional. Our waiter in particular was very attentive and pleasant. Thank-you for a lovely evening

My friends and I stopped here for a round of cocktails on our way to the village centre. It was early evening and the place was not too busy. The cocktails were well-prepared and served by friendly young staff. Prices were reasonable.We passed by late on Saturday as we returned to our hotel. The "joint was jumpin'" and full of young people enjoying the music. It is not my style but if it is yours, I think that you would enjoy it!
