Very nice english speaking staff, great pizza. We arrived late but that was no problem, they still made us a great pizza. Salad was served with balsamico and olive oil, salad was fresh and big. Nice location. Loved the terrace outside.

Fermati per caso,per pranzo, locale ben arredato ma non molto grande,ordiniamo tagliatelle ai funghi veramente molto buone e funghi freschi, ottimo il filetto cucinato a puntino, prezzo nella norma, unica pecca che a mio parere andrebbe migliorata la gestione del locale, e un po' più di attenzione al cliente, e confusione nelle ordinazioni, e nel servizio, peccato perché si mangia veramente bene

My friends and I stopped here for a round of cocktails on our way to the village centre. It was early evening and the place was not too busy. The cocktails were well-prepared and served by friendly young staff. Prices were reasonable.We passed by late on Saturday as we returned to our hotel. The "joint was jumpin'" and full of young people enjoying the music. It is not my style but if it is yours, I think that you would enjoy it!

It is like to be in Germany, for environment and food.You have to like a lot the meet but also if do not like so much meet the food is very, very good. Also bear is fantastic especially double malt, the red one! Price is good.

This is a brewery that has begun the lengthy approval process (more on that below) for operating a brewpub/restaurant.Their artisanal beers are wonderful, and can be purchased on premises for either immediate consumption or to take home. At the moment they brew 15 beers - each named after a famous opera - that range from pale lagers and wheat beers to stouts and strong barley wines. The two that we had with our dinner were excellent.Apparently the bureaucratic process in Italy for a brewery to obtain government approval to operate a brewpub/restaurant is lengthy, and replete with nonsensical rules that appear to only exist to protect other restaurants from the competition. For example, no "table service" is allowed until the approval process is complete (which may take up to a couple of years!). So the brewery gets around this by having you write down your order from a menu on a blackboard and then walking it to the cashier. They then give you an electronic buzzer - the kind that is often used in restaurants to alert customers that their table is ready. When the buzzer sounds, you go to a serving table by the cashier, pick up your order (served on disposable plates and plasticware - apparently another bizarre rule) and walk it back to your (mostly long cafeteria-style) table. The food selection, while limited at the moment to several daily specials posted on a blackboard, is good rustic Italian fare, priced reasonably.Given the fact that the brewery is located in the small town of Sant'Ambrogio, and the strange rules it must operate under (at least for awhile), you would think that the place would be dead. Well, you would be dead wrong! On a Fri/Sat/Sun evening you had better make reservations if you want to be seated, because the place is hopping with young people as well as families with kids. Definitely a lively, fun atmosphere.

Il posto è carino , sabato sera strapienissimo di gente , il cibo è ottimo e decisamente troppo , tanto che danno i cartoni della pizza per portare via il cibo avanzato...più tardi si balla anche , per me un po' troppo caotico si faceva fatica a sentirsi da un lato all'altro della panca ...si può tornare ad ogni modo

I tried the Crota with my kid. We had the local sandwich (local ingredients and superb bread). Good bier. The size of the sandwich is comparable to the excellent and original taste. If you are in Val Susa try it.

Nice brew pub located in the center of Avigliana with seating inside and outside on the main square. Their main feature is definitely the selection of beers as they are the brew pub of a local drafter (LaVal.) Food choice is excellent and staff is very very friendly. Parking is not a problem but the place is usually crowded - a reservation may be needed, especially on weekends. Must try!
