Arrived just about 7 in the evening, asked for English language as my Italian is poor. Been pointed the worst table by the cook! Asked for drinks, my beer was off so asked the front of house staff who arrived by then to replace it, what she did, but the cool was moaning about it behind the bar! Food was ok, as we were starving, but with a service like this do not really wanted to stay. One positive thing was the nice picture on the way to the toilette!Dear customer,your review perplexed us. The only thing we're able to recognize is the portrait you've published, which represents a vintage print. For the rest, every single word you've wrote doesn't match with our customs. Since 1987, we have a dedicated English menù and every single person of the staff can speak English fluently. We strongly believe in the importance of hospitality, especially when our customers come from abroad. The large staff you were talking about in the review doesn't match with the staff actually at the service of our customers and the service we offer to our customers is definitely different from what the other reviews say about us.What does it mean you were the worst table in the restaurant? If you came to visit us in one of our crowded evenings, without any booking, you probably took a sit in the one of the last available tables. You've said you can't speak Italian fluently and that you can only express yourself in Enlish but you've firmly confirmed that your request (an other beer) have been received in a bad way from the guy assigned at the bar service. Have you thought about the fact that the possible (but not certain) displeasure of that guy wasn't connected to your request? It could have been connected to the made mistake; or it could have been connected to something else (especially if, as I was saying before, you came to visit us in a crowded service). Looking at your Trip Advisor profile, I can see you gave excellent reviews to a lot of other restaurantes and places: we seem to be the worst one ever. You came to visit in July 2015: why have you decided to review us just now, 2 months later? It is like to be in Germany, for environment and food.You have to like a lot the meet but also if do not like so much meet the food is very, very good. Also bear is fantastic especially double malt, the red one! Price is good.

We arrived on a Sat night and they were fully booked with a large party. However as we were staying just up the road they agreed to find us a table. Our dogs were made welcome too. Whilst we were waiting we were given some pizza slices straight out of the wood oven. The chilled white wine was excellent. We both had pizzas and were very pleased. The staff were welcoming and professional. Our waiter in particular was very attentive and pleasant. Thank-you for a lovely evening

A friend repeated me so many times to try this restaurant and finally I did it.Outside appears like an hosteria but entered I realized to stay in an elegant, cozy and handsome restaurant.They welcomed with "prosecco" and a little refined appetizer.They gave us a cozy spot and driven us not in a lunch but in a nice food trip.They proposed seafood and meat menù or free choose one.We was five people and we took different types of dishes in order to taste all the proposal.Dishes were so studied and had armonious combination of flavors and, strange for this type of restaurant, was very generous.There was not a list but a "book" of wines, and we choosen for "nebbiolo", typical piemontese.Desserts were elegantly accompained with rum.Cordiality and elegance had to be payed!Absolutly recommended

It was very late, dinnertime, during the Autumn Fair, we were immediately served, a fixed menu based on Sicilian foods and we chose the normal menu. A very good meal for us 4, with a touch of something "different", not the usual agnolotti! Pleasant, friendly service The trattoria is spacious, on two floors, clean bathrooms and a small space in front. Pizza served as well, we chose a very good fish menu. Prices in the normal.To be revisited!The trattoria is situated on the main-road outside the lovely medioval town of Avigliana, 20 minutes from the Sacra Saint Michele

We walked by the San Michele and decided we want to eat there. We got excellent food a very friendly and helpful host and the food was accompanied by the nicest wines. When we had to pay we expected the double of the price it eventually was. This is living food at its best. I would take a detour of 100 miles to go there again...Thank you francien ! See you soon..to drink another glass of wine
